We had a lot of fun with family for the holiday. My grandparents are getting older, so this is the second Thanksgiving where my parents, sister and brother-in-law all made the trip to Michigan to see them.

Hope you had a good one, too. We're looking forward to the next time we can share a meal with you, Thanksgiving or otherwise.

Thank you, sir. When I first looked at the photo on the computer, I thought I'd overexposed it, but then I noticed how floaty it felt and I liked it even more.

Thanks, K. I'm glad this turned out, too. I haven't had a lot of time for photography lately, since we've been working hard on getting our new place fixed up so we can move in. I snapped this one in the few minutes I had while I was waiting for Pam to come down from lab so we could make our umpteenth trip to Home Depot. It was really dark and I didn't have my tripod with me so I was trying as hard as I could to stabilize it enough on a newspaper vending box in order to get the shot I wanted.

I love this. Fantastic composition and great choice of background. This would be as beautiful without the truck, but much less interesting.
