Excellent! Thank you for actually explaining breifely what each setting does! Too many tutorials lead you blindly not mentioning what the pros/cons are and what it does. Many I looked up to make sure I was good with it, and knew in case future implications took place.

Thank you. I think I see some speed improvement after I applied all your list of items.
Will you mind put first few line how to back firefox about:config configuration just in case we want to go back previous configuration?
I am wondering if anyone else had their firefox running well after configuring?

What a brilliant page, combines all the right stuff for speeding up Mozilla. If you combine these steps with Fasterox by Spinball - an add-on that helps speed, and use the new Firefox 3.1 Beta 3, it is unbelievably quick. Good job!
