The Green Weenies also oppose solar and wind turbine alternative energy as well as fossil fuel energy. They also oppose desalinization plants to produce potable water in Southern Califonia.

I'm wondering....
1. Who will use these trained people?
2. How many are needed?
3. Cannot people think/do for themselves? (nobody 'trained' comes to my home to tell me how to "save time" or "eat better" or how to use a roll of toilet paper (but I'm sure Big Brother is working on it - they want to control every aspect of our lives).

Almost any company or business can spin the 'green' factor in if they're creative enough. You can call yourself "Green" all you want with no enforcement of the term even if you're the biggest CO2 hog of all. "Go with my business we're 100pct green!" I think we'll use that lol. ( I suppose you could paint your building/business green so it could be a literal statement as well LOL)

but it was the fear mongering left that effectively put a halt on nuclear plant construction in America. Nuclear power is a safe far more effective energy source than solar/wind/oil/coal etc AND far more advanced. France, Japan, China, Australia, Russia all use and continue to build nuclear. how much CO2 have the left let in because of opposing nuclear?

I AM NO AUTHORITY...IT'S ALL ABOUT MONEY...I AM GOING TO START A GREEN BUSINESS BUT I AM HAVING A VERY DIFFICULT TIME FINDING LOCAL ASSISTANCE OF ANY KIND. Agreed; these dam do-gooders are eating up our tax money and fees for rebates, tax credits and training for inefficient solar and wind energy, which must be duplicated as it is intermittent, all in the name of solving AGW which is the vehicle to install a one world dictatorship government, even though they don't know it.

There are no real investigative reporters anymore.

We need to duplicate programs like this across the nation through colleges, associations, cities and agencies. We in the industry have not misread history. We have lived it. I hate, in a way, to even give them credit, I have my reasons, but Pacific Gas and Electric introduced conservation programs in the early 80's called the ZIP program, or Big 6 Conservation measures. Their efforts were mandated by the California PUC. Of course when the mandate ended, so did the programs.

Training, rebates, and tax credits need to be totally taken away from the Utilities. They are not always being honest with the American people when they tell them they "want to help them save energy."

Stimulus funds earmarked for programs like this will go further to solving the challenges facing us then any "Smart Grid" investment ever made. Like the satellite industry, after
the stuff's put in, with tax payer dollars, the Dish Network charges you $100 bucks a month to watch TV.

Sorry, lot's of baggage I guess, don't worry I will not live forever, but until I die,I help people remember what the utility companies did to California to kill deregulation for the country, or at least set it back 30 years.
