All great lyrics. Peterson was a true beatnik poet, and Cucamonga was semi-autobiographical. He had indeed, "done some time." He passed away in the late 80s.

Re: Pride of Cucamonga, Day 2 (Scripting News)

I think his name is Phil Schiller.

Re: Pride of Cucamonga, Day 2 (Scripting News)

Hey , this is my first time visit here..Wow, a lot of nice story in this blog.
I did bookmark ur page as easy for me to find it later..

Btw, Mars Hotel collection is not bad for me. Do you live in Cucamonga? If so do you have some pictures? I'd love to see what it looks like there.

Re: Pride of Cucamonga, Day 2 (Scripting News)

Hey, Rancho Cucamonga is actually pretty nice, as far as the Inland Empire goes - lots of parks, trails, etc. It's not a hipster nirvana, but then again it doesn't have to be.

Besides, Frank Zappa lived here. :)

- J

Re: Pride of Cucamonga, Day 2 (Scripting News)

Maybe You should look at Phil Lesh's book Searchin' for the Sound.
