  • Maybe You should look at Phil Lesh's book Searchin' for the Sound.
  • Hey, Rancho Cucamonga is actually pretty nice, as far as the Inland Empire goes - lots of parks, trails, etc. It's not a hipster nirvana, but then again it doesn't have to be.

Besides, Frank Zappa lived here. :)

  • That's cool that Zappa lived there. Do you live in Cucamonga? If so do you have some pictures? I'd love to see what it looks like there.
  • Hey , this is my first time visit here..Wow, a lot of nice story in this blog.
I did bookmark ur page as easy for me to find it later..

Btw, Mars Hotel collection is not bad for me. I'm a big fan of the old song..LOL I'm still young 28 but listen to those old and country song..
  • I think his name is Phil Schiller.
  • A little more P-of-C trivia: The lyricist, Bob Peterson, collaborated with Phil on three songs: Cucamonga, Unbroken Chain (from the same LP) and the late-60s psychedelic shuffle New Potato Caboose. All great lyrics. Peterson was a true beatnik poet, and Cucamonga was semi-autobiographical. He had indeed, "done some time." He passed away in the late 80s.
