It's bad enough you published what may well be public pictures, but your censorship of them was personal and out of order. It will be up to the parents of those children whether or not they want to make a legal case of this intrusion of their privacy or not. Those children are NOT public figures, so their pictures used in a negative manner suggesting they are breaking laws can be legally challenged. THAT decision will be up to the parents, NOT you. If you are so concerned about the safety of the City, go patrol the Renton transit center or hang out on the bike trail to control traffic..

Re: EDITOR'S NOTE: City workers aren’t your baby-sitters - Renton Reporter

City Workers may not be our babysitters but for sure they must secure dangerous areas so as not to be a hazard to children, or anyone else. By the same token, Editors of newspapers, you Dean Radford, are not authorized to post pictures of minors to be identified as if they were on the "most wanted" list, such as criminals. Just as what you saw caused you to seeth; what I read in your report caused me to seeth. You outstepped your boundaries and the parents of these children should hold you accountable for your egregious actions. You said there were adults there, but you don't mention that you spoke with them. Why? You took advantage of innocent children whose permission you did not have from them or their parents to post their pictures in such an unfavorable manner. Your anger does not justify your actions which probably broke some legal laws by asking for their "identities". The parents of those children should "identify" you.

Re: Litzow misunderstands 41st Legislative District - Renton Reporter

Just because Litzow speaks the truth about the RSD is no reason for you to cry foul. Politics is what it is and at times can be a pretty rough sport. Where have you, Carrie Wong, been the past year? Did you see the presidential candidates duke it out? and will continue to do so until one is declared the winner. That's the way it goes and it's nothing personal to our children. At least Litzow is pulling the cover off the fakers and showing us the real side of things. Be glad.

Re: Maxwell has hand in schools - Renton Reporter

Maxie doesn't have the "moxie" to represent as a legislature. I personally am not impressed by her record which shows nothing outstanding she has accomplished. Being a member of the school board is good if you're doing something besides being "bored", which she obviously has not. If your projects at the local level are failures, how can you succeed at a higher level. Progress starts at the bottom and works up, not the other way around. At least Litzow will get the results and change we so greatly need

Re: Lawmakers need to know how to set priorities - Renton Reporter

Where or where are the comments that were already here, including mine. How has she distinguished herself as a board members in the Renton District? What is her justification for so many failing schools in HER district? Moving up to the legislature is a promotion which should be earned by one's accomplishments on the home base, and receiving a lot of awards does not make one qualified. Marcie Maxwell needs to stay in the real estate business and leave the business of legislative representative to someone who has the ability to truly represent. She has not proven that she is capable. Litzow is a true leader and will be a better choice for the change we need.
