While it is true that Island Air stopped commercial service to West Maui (JHM) a few years back, it continues to be served by Mokulele Airlines several times each day from Honolulu (HNL), Kona (KOA), and Moloka'i (MKK). Perhaps there's some technicality defining "commercial service," but truth is you can still take a scheduled flight in and out of Kapalua. [EDIT: and as Greg mentioned, it's a 9-ish seat plane which is an absolute hoot to fly and makes the trip feel really special in a Fantasy Island kinda way]

One more thing... you *really* should look at building the machine yourself. Go to NewEgg for "reasonable" component prices.

Phil: for what it's worth, I've been running 64-bit Vista Home Premium at home for last several months. Overall, no major issues, but a few tools won't run on 64-bit, most annoyingly NeatReceipts (it seems that anything with a device driver has a harder time). In re-building my machine this weekend, I noticed many more of the HW vendors releasing 64-bit drivers, so life is looking up.

When I made the purchase, I looked at doing Ultimate, but the benefits really are close to nil when running at home.

While the Creature Creator is fun, have you actually figured out if there's a point to the game itself yet? Everything I've read so far seems pretty non-specific...
