They're a major part of what I love about the hobby (building/painting) aspect of 40k! My current project are Ironbeak Kroot Mercs (counts as Admech) and I'm having a freakin' blast converting them! If someone doesn't want to play against them, that's fine. I probably didn't want to play against them anyway. :P

https://uploads.disquscdn.c...

Re: Privateer Press Says Goodbye to Press Gangers

Oh, sorry about that. The shield of the model is the same as the official PG coin that is given out to all PGs. PGs are getting a sweet Rewards Pack (for free), including custom miniature, artwork, patch, thank-you note, commendation thing, and a bunch of other bits. It at least seemed very genuine that this was something that had to happen and it was not an easy decision. I will say it sucks that it ends, but life goes on. I look forward to fielding my custom Black Ogrun Buccaneer (counts-as Ogrun Bokur) in the future.

That is, until GW finally puts out some Arbites to fight the GS Cults, at which point I'm back on the wagon, hard. :P

Re: Privateer Press Says Goodbye to Press Gangers

o7

Re: Privateer Press Says Goodbye to Press Gangers

http://blog.legalsolutions....

Re: 40K: Rules Critical Mass Has Been Reached

I think Warmachine is transitioning to a free rules model starting soon (March?). It's not drybrushing that gives it the grody look (although there was some drybrushing on the hard edges), it's sloppy washing (hives aren't clean places). More of Goatboy's work on the Arbites can be seen here: http://fullofmonkey.com/blo....

Re: Warmachine Lore: Dragons

I believe a PP designer once said that a model for a Dragon (say, Toruk) would probably have to be a couch cover.

Re: X-Wing RUMORS: Beyond Wave 7

What is, the Gozanti? Huh, had not heard of that. Doesn't make sense that it got much smaller, though, given that it still has to hold a Z95 internally, plus cargo, plus crew, etc. That something they did for the cartoons? I'll have to check Wookieepedia later.

Re: X-Wing RUMORS: Beyond Wave 7

Gozanti, despite its popularity, just isn't big enough. Depending on which description you go with (EP:1 or Clone Wars), it's between 41 and 64m long. The YV-666 (new Scum large ship) is 62m long, and the smallest huge ship (Rebel GR-75) is 90m. By comparison, the CR90 is 150m, same as the Imperial Raider. If we don't see something like an Action IV outfitted as an interceptor frigate, I think we'll likely get a brand new ship design (like the Raider).

Honestly, given their prolific nature, I'd be ok with just a repainted CR90 with S&V cards and characters. :D

Re: NEW – Space Marine Xiphon Interceptor

For the Emperor, so say we all!

Re: NEW – Space Marine Xiphon Interceptor

Too much confusion...

Re: END TIMES Thanquol: Tally of Destruction

What Empire?
