I've said this often before, but anytime someone who the constitution allows to vote is prohibited from casting a valid ballot (because of draconian voter ID laws, voter purges, different voting rules / opening hours in "mostly red" vs "mostly blue" precincts, or other means of disenfranchisement) that election is rigged. Mike Johnson is the beneficiary of those elections.

I can only assume the theory was that Ahmadinejad loves power more than he hates Israel or the US, because he is as unprincipled as Trump or Bibi. And considering the theory came from the unprincipled minds of Trump and Bibi it makes sense.

First, I’ve never heard a Democratic politician use the phrase “justice-involved population” when speaking to a general audience...

While I've never heard a Democratic politician use that specific term, in 2022 the Democratic gubernatorial candidate in Tennessee--on more than one occasion--referred to people who might need abortions as "birthing persons," in what I can presume was a consultant-driven request to be inclusive to trans people. I don't think using that inclusive language was ultimately a productive use of his energy in that he got clobbered in the general election by his execrable opponent, Bill Lee.

I presume Bashear (like all politicians) has no shortage of people who regularly tell him "don't say this, say this instead," and like all political advice, 90% of it is garbage, and it's nigh-on impossible to determine what the useful 10% is.

I didn't say it was lead, I said it was because we were raised on a media diet of assholes and bad boys and so Gen X believes that one good guy with a gun can save an entire corporate christmas party from Hans Gruber and his skyscraper terrorists and votes for the guy who cheats at golf, even if he owns the country club.

Gen X was raised on a media diet of "bad boys who don't play by the rules" (Peter Vinkman, Axel Foley, Maverick, any number of rogue cops) and have voted consistently for the "bad boy who doesn't play by the rules" in every election whether Democrat or Republican.

Even when that person was the owner of the country club! Because Democrats consistently nominated schoolmarms to run against him!

When the "Elite Media" sanewashes Trump it gives mainstream media license to go full propaganda mode, and honestly anything that would cause a 2-3 point swing in the electorate would make a massive difference in outcomes. Hence Trump's attacks on anything lower than "fawning praise and also bribes" from pretty much everyone.

At least some of those accusations are contained in a lawsuit filed by Jane Doe against Trump and Epstein back in 2016.

The lawsuit went away, but it's unknown whether it was dropped because it lacked merit, because the parties settled and were paid off--Stormy Daniels-style--or because of threats by Michael Cohen et. al.
