it's adorable how dads are so clueless about cooking sometimes, because their wives cook everything for them....

aside from nuking things, the only dish my dad knows how to cook is rice.

that relay for life part was so random. LOL. 'healty foods' blah blah if people are going to eat unhealthy foods, they're going to eat unhealthy foods. maybe there's a valid study out there (published in a journal) that can either attest to this, or refute it.

I never really bought anything/food from those restaurants in lower sproul. because i have a meal plan. woohoo!!

I think Naia failed because if people are going to buy expensive ice cream/desserts, they're not going to go to naia, they're going to drive all the way to fentons or walk to that place on college.

nice notes btw. they were interesting.

You guys need some fans in there. All the hot air only makes people angrier and impatient with one another, which isn't conducive to progress.

And what's wrong with MSG? Asians have been eating it for years...Eating too much MSG is just as bad as eating too much salt, right?

IS it ranch 99, or 99 ranch?

i usually say ranch 99, but other people say 99 ranch. which is the true name?

i ask because even if the store's name is "99 ranch" there's a tendency to botch translation up when it comes to chinese-english translations.

I never dated in high school because I was simply a nerd and too chicken to? A boy had asked me out once, but I knew that going on a date would only be embarassing for me when my family found out, so I said 'no.' He was pretty cute too. I think this embarassment was because I was still in an "I don't like boys" stage. Late bloomer, I know.

My parents had no problems with me dating in high school, but I guess I was too much of a nerd to really care about getting a boyfriend. I still don't want one, because getting into a relationship seems so much like a chore to go out every so often and worry about whether he/she likes X/Y about you, especially when it is inevitable that you will be breaking up due to life choice differences (I mean, how many couples in high school really get married? or college? especially if both of you want to go to grad school in different areas). I'd rather just be a hermit until I get a job and settle down somewhere. I'm 22, single, and still happy!

On a side note, my parents themselves dated people before marrying (though my dad was pretty much a playboy in his days). I guess that makes them less fobbish than usual.
