I agree. We hired a new GM. He has improved service in a aspects. Changed the menu. Improved the wine list. Spiffed up the golf course. Dressed up the dining room. More training for the staff. New equipment for the gym and pool. Yes, people complain that it costs money but guess what? We are operating in the black. Why? People are using the club more and spending money. We eliminated the food minimum and F&amp;B revenue went up! It's the restauant and bar of choice in the area. We now make members pay $500 deposit to put their memberships on the sale list. Guess what, the sale list dropped by 50% (you find out who really wants to sell!). Yes, we need more young members (average age of the men is 51) but we will get them because we offer a great golf and social experience for the whole family. We don't want people that can't afford it, we want people that can't afford NOT to be members. I can't affort to spend six hours on a muni to play 18 when I van get around our better course in 3.5 hours. What is your time worth? </p>
