Every time I open up my Reader, waiting for a moment when I can comment, I scroll down to smile at the photo of the otters. That is awesome. I feel like that's a little bit like my house with my boys, and all their little friends who come to the door or smear the front door glass with their sweaty hands and faces, to see if they're home to play.

This post officially confirms my suspicions that you're really not going to send Adrian to me. I shall no longer assume you've perhaps changed your mind from your earlier stance of also not sending him, and cease to exhibit far too great a level of glee when I see the UPS and/or FedEx delivery trucks round my corner and beeline for my house. Alas. Oh, and gloriously happy birthday to Adrian. Dang but 365 days really fly by.

Also, if I had you around, I'd try to get you to sell me that fantastic green hat...giving you a bit toward your shoe budget!

I actually woke up in a bit of a cold sweat around 3 a.m., today, wondering what in the world I'm going to get my kids for Christmas this year. My youngest recently started the "I want that!" routine when he watches TV, and I look at it and it's all junk, and if there's one thing we already have enough of around it, it's junk. I'm wondering how much they'd just like receiving my best wishes.

After every episode, my husband and I walk around the house quoting Sue Sylvester until the next week's episode airs. I can't wait to use the 'vomit down your back' line this week!

OMG! That is the SAME project we (um...I mean my 7th grader)(and his dad)(but definitely not me) (OK, maybe a little) did a couple weekends ago!! And when I say it was the same, I mean even the directions. There must be a website they all get these from! We even got up early so my husband could drive my son to school on the day it was due and make sure none of the cytoplasm fell off. Good times.

I told my son to safely bring it home so we could tuck that baby away for the next five years and then pull it out when my youngest got the same assignment. Thing is, he (we, I guess...) got an A+ on it, and the teacher kept it to put it on display in the case at the school entrance. I keep my eye on it every time I'm in the building!

I forgot the great NPH was a voice actor in this movie! My youngest loves the book - and all the ones that are related to it. May have to take him to see it...or I may wait until I can get it for a buck and rent it!
