I hope you don't mind me saying, but I NORMALLY find your "action" pages the hardest ones to work out what is going on (see train/troll scene), but I think you're getting better at them and and I REALLY liked this page!

I'm having a problem with reset overriding the style set in vertical rhythm, because the reset specifically mentions p tags, but then vertical rhythm just sets its value to the html tag. Because this is less specific, the reset wins.

Is there something i'm missing here? I can't be the first person to try compass reset with compass vertical rhythm to notice this?

FYI, the tv show Wipeout is awesome! It's hilarious.. and better than Ninja Warrior.. i watched Ninja Warrior .. and there are plenty of fat people!

It seems I may owe an apology to Eclipse! A colleague has told me that modern day Eclipse is very nice to use! The version terrible Rad7 uses is quite old it seems.

I've recently had to start supporting a Java application that is using Eclipse (Rad 7) as the IDE... it is disgusting to use compared to VS2008. I'm no longer sore about problems in VS2008 compared to the headache Eclipse! :)

I feel like there should be a more elegant solution to this problem where you can use properties that will serialize/deserialize properly instead of just variables. If anyone finds one, could you post a link as a comment?

I'm glad you got got to a solution even if I my solution didn't help you. I usually find it best practice for enums to always have an entry with a value of 0 as a catch-all for uninitiated enums.

I wrote in my own blog (http://computeroverlord.tum... about the things I thoguht was wrong with Linq to SQL, but I am trying very hard to use plain old Linq when dealing with lists and collections. It's pretty good! I think the next implementation will be a vast improvement on the first attempt.

As always such power can be abused.. I've seen some horrible implementations on the most unreadable Linq code you can imagine :)

I thought about that as well. My hesitance about doing that is based around 2 points:
* I have to reinvent the wheel for every property I wanted to use
* I'd lose some compatibilty and automatic ugrade path if new features come out that leverage native controls

The other possibility might be to use Control Adapters ( http://www.asp.net/CSSAdapt... ) to try and fix the problem. They seem good at converting Table layout controls into Div layout controls. I might look into this and write about it soon.
