i was over exaggerating certain points. and you're partially right about the cultural value aspect. but then there are plenty of white people (and people of all different ethnicities) who partake in various aspects of "black" culture, whether it's music or film or simply lifestyle, who would be excluded from this site because their skin isn't black. is that fair?

i don't bash people for musical taste. knowing me, i'll probably end up loving this album so much that i get into their older stuff. i like working in reverse when it comes to discographies. it's interesting to hear the evolution of a band that way.

it's interesting. i'm a TG enthusiast and collector, so i got it mostly as a collector's item, but its audio applications (especially with mods) are pretty cool. the concept is extremely interesting, as well, so even for people who aren't TG fans, it's a cool little box to have.

to be honest, i wish i had gotten the tri-colour special edition box.

if you do go there, make sure you check out amoeba, the best record store in the world. (the one in LA is a bit bigger, but the one in SF still has an excellent selection).

not only do i find canada more beautiful (and more patriotic) than the US, it is also more fun to be in. i've been to toronto twice now, and both times were wonderful.

also, joshua jackson is always adorable. i have never gotten over the mighty ducks.
