I tend to have low blood sugar even though I mostly avoid sweets and poor food choices. I ingest protein at every meal and found after reading Eat Right For Your Type, that I do better eating red meat since I have type O blood.

I have a smoothie in the morning with protein powder, along with sour dough Spelt bread with goat or sheep's milk cheese. That keeps me going for several hours and when I need it I eat a protein bar or two and then have meat or fish for dinner. Since I still have a sweet tooth I try to eat a minimal amount of chocolate or cookies but I eat some every day for a treat. these days I feel a lot better and I am quite lean .
