apple is selling to people who don't want a lot of choice. The iPad isn't an iphone or a laptop, it's an over sized ipod touch. Ironically the iPad offers the greatest choice when it comes to ebooks. They use the epub format and any other formats are just an app away.

Why buy the kindle when I can buy the ipad and use the kindle app? I've been itching to make the jump to all digital media and the ipad looks like the best option out there.

Have to raise the question of why you singled out @mccainblogetter and didn't mention @newtgingrich @hughhewitt @ericcantor @michellemalkin or @GovMikeHuckabee who have similar follow ratios.

There are several ways to use twitter and using it as a broadcast medium is one of them. And judging by the #s who follow broadcasters it's a very accepted form of tweeting.

bravo and well put, NBC totally needs to hire your pen.

I agree with your Heroes analysis, people need to die and fast (if the audience squawks they can always time travel and bring them back).

Chuck is the new "Get Smart" (not the lame attempt at a movie but the old school TV show) he needs to leave the local Buy Moria sphere on occasion, get a nemesis (perhaps from Stanford) and over extend his double life. After a dozen episodes he can have spidermany thoughts of meaning and purpose and reinvent himself later.

Hey great post,

I have met some great folks in Lancaster via twitter and facebook. Last night I was at Quips and ran into a guy who I follow on twitter. Back when I began following local tweeters there were only 6 of us, now there are over 140 and more joining everyday.

Lancaster is quickly developing a tech niche and the social networks are helping link those people together.

google is just amazing, I sold a car last week and used google to find a title transfer place nearby. I found three that I didn't even know existed (and i've lived here for 13 years) :-) I use it for everything.
