It also had great notes, which would indeed be infinitely easier to read in eBook form.  I have nothing to compare it to though, so I'll refrain from making any sort of value judgment.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;There was also a Russian TV miniseries made in 2005 based on the books, of which I've only seen the first episode.  It was really great though and the dialogue was incredibly true to the novel.  The pacing was like nothing that would ever be produced in America.
