Lenses are way too expensive... why buy an off brand vs. Sony... doesn't not expand the base of use of lenses. There needs to be more $300 to $500 lenses.

If you expect to be respected by the fashion industry maybe wearing cartoon characters is a bit off the mark. I think it's insulting to the profession and industry to care so little. It's not like she doesn't have money to dress for the position. If you don't want to be judged on your fashion style then don't enter door. Even McDonald's has a dress code... and would send you home if you dress in cartoon characters. Be an adult... not a snowflake.

Why not just set the 14mm manual lens (f8) focus on infinity and save the cash? Do you really need autofocus on such a wide lens?

Police should create new procedures when stopping motorists with traffic stops if they want to see both hands upon approaching a motor vehicle I think most everyone would comply. Most of us don't know what to do to make a cop feel safer. Great topic for public safety advisories.

Just shoot in raw and jack up the exposure in light room you have a huge amount of dynamic range with the A7 series cameras. It's not like you work for Sports Illustrated. It's harder for any camera to auto focus at 1.4 vs. 1,8. You can have just as much "fun" with the 1.8 with $1,250 more in the bank. How many people are going to study your volley ball pics?

What are you a spoiled 12 year old. A lens is a tool just like a hammer. A 1.4 lens isn't going to make you a great photographer and a 1.8 lens won't make you a bad one.
