Yep, I totally agree. It drives me nuts when people focus on getting out of trouble rather than not getting into trouble in the first place.

I agree. Never gets old. And I do remember the first time I heard it. I used to run in the park in the morning and then come back and watch MTV2 while stretching. This video came on and it was one of less than half a dozen times in my life that I had to stop what I was doing and just listen and watch. As soon as it was over I went in and told my wife (girlfriend at the time) OutKast song was unbelievable — like, "this is gonna be huge" unbelievable. She was dubious as she always is but the next morning it came on again and I woke her up and, in her way of not complaining for waking her up, she agreed. We ended up putting it on the mix CD we gave to friends at our wedding reception — it was one of only about three songs that there was no debate from either of us.
