There is always a premium to being first to market (or biggest in the market). Either you pay it when building, or you pay to acquire. I'm not a frequent youtube viewer. When I want to find a video that I hear others chatting about though, I go straight to youtube.

I can see the community driving more traffic here. I'm more interested in whether the content generated by users is "owned" by Google or me. Will it all be served via ajax and totally not factor in to the on-page ranking factors.

Lincoln was president starting in 1861... so, why exactly can't he have said that, especially given it was attributed to him while he was President. I'm not doubting you so much as wanting to know your logic?

Thanks for the review. I've been a Trillian user for a number of years now, but I like to experiment. I think I can find room to give ol' digsby a try.
