My sentiments exactly. You put into words everything I want to say to folks in response to their unfounded criticisms and attacks. She gets blamed for whatever Bill may have done, as if SHE was president in the 90s. Good point on the Iraq war vote, like she was the only person who voted yes. She voted according to what she believed at the time.

Thank you Elizabeth. I know the pain all too well. I've held 2 in my arms as vet had to put them to sleep. I, like you, wouldn't mind being raptured if it meant I wouldn't have to go thru that pain again. If I had one wish, it would be that our beloved pets lived a lot longer. They bring so much joy. Life without a dog isn't much of a life, at least for me. Thanks again and stay well, you and your 4 legged buddies. They ARE family.

My Siberian Husky will turn 10 in June. We go for our walks each and every day since the day I got him. I worry about him aging and slowing down. So far I see no signs. And yes, if ever he can't walk, I'll push him in a buggy. He's my little buddy and he deserves it. He's done so much for me. He mended my broken heart when we lost our last 4 legged family member. He deserves the best and I intend on being there for him till the end, as tough as it is. I love him so. I hope we have many more years together.

I for one love Windows 8 & 8.1. I don't quite understand what's not to like. There's good vids out there on how to use it. A start menu would be a step backwards IMO.

Bernie actually defended Pres. Obama one other time that I'm aware of. It was when Hannity claimed Pres. Obama didn't deserve ANY credit for the take down of the Somali pirates who'd kidnapped Capt. Phillips. But you're right about Bernie "every so often" he forget where he is. LOL

Bill Maher donated to a super-pac, Pres. Obama didn't invite him to the SOTU, or campaign along side of him as Republicans are doing. Stockman & Abbott, respectively. He didn't take a pic hugging him ala Ms. Palin. False equivalency IMO. Bernie did make good points tho, as did Megyn. Kudos for that. We need more of that. BTW, Bill Maher was, IMO out of line for calling Palin what he did.

I've used one with my 8yr. old Siberian Husky from day one. I usually let him walk out in front so he can feel free to explore when we hike in the woods or town park. When we go into town, he knows to stay by my side. That's where I keep the leash shorter. He also knows not to cross in front of me while in town. He crosses behind me.

I guess it's not the same for everyone. For me, there's NO WAY I could not be with them to the very end. I want them to know I'm with them no matter what and to comfort them. I don't want them to be afraid. I've had to do it twice and I'll do it again when the time comes. It's so damn heartbreaking, but I try to keep my composure at least till they're gone. I still tear up when I think of about it, as I am now. I'm thankful for my buddy I have now. My advice? Make every day count with your little friend. I do with mine. He takes me for a walk every day, lol. They say to walk your dog, but I think they walk us. If not for them, we may not take those walks. I'm thankful for each and every day with him. His name is Wrigley. He's a Siberian Husky.

Whether Conservative or Liberal, Tea Partier or Progressive doesn't really matter, at least to me. He's a sick individual who probably shouldn't have been able to "legally" or any other way get his hands on such destructive weapons. So many paid the ultimate price at the hands of this deranged individual. Thoughts and Prayers go out those affected by this terrible tragedy. It'll take more than just prayers to try and prevent, or at least minimize this sort of thing from ever happening again. This could have happened in any one of our neighborhoods. This could have been YOUR loved one. I don't know the solution, if there even is one, but one thing's for sure. Doing NOTHING results in NOTHING getting done. Sad we can't have an open discussion without hurling insults and name calling.

If you oppose Pres. Obama's policies, that's fine. Just try to come up with something better than "This President has been a disaster." That sounds like something a 3rd grader might say and just shows you have nothing of substance. The sad part is that you do know you have no legitimate argument.
