Enforcing pay secrecy is in most cases illegal. And according to the company CEO, it's the manager who was in violation of policy. Age is not important at a god damn pizza place. They are both high schoolers and their pay was decided at the time of hire so is not a reflection of performance. You need to get better at reading :(

Actually, I'd be totally cool with that. It'd be really interesting to see a male character forced to change himself fundamentally to attract his love interest (Little Mermaid), a kind and gentlehearted man being swept onto the white horse of the princess who saved him (Snow White), and a young prince being brought back to life by the kiss of a strong and noble princess (Sleeping Beauty). Bring it on!

If we were talking about the lives of real men and not a fictional story about people hunting ghosts, you might have a point with your last line. But as you may have noticed, Ghostbusters isn't a documentary. All the male whining I've seen about this is based in negative assumptions about women (not even any particular women, the mere IDEA of women) and their capabilities as actors and comedians. Like it or not, that's misogyny.

In what world does this movie have "mainly a male audience"? Everyone I know loves Ghostbusters. But thanks for telling me how I feel about it! I actually think it shows great judgment. Ghostbusters has been one of my favorite movies since I was a kid. And because I'm an adult, I can recognize that making a new version does not prevent me from watching and enjoying the original whenever I want. Psst... I'm a woman. Not everything in the universe needs to cater to men, though I know that's a really tough concept for men to grasp (evidence: this entire comment thread).

Correct! All I've seen in response to this story is a bunch of men complaining about the mere idea of this film, which they don't have to see, and which does not impact the existence of, or your ability to enjoy, the original. It seems to me if anyone's searching for victimhood, it's the thousands of manchildren whining that this remake will "ruin their childhoods." I'm going to buy stock in Kleenex... it's sure to go through the roof what with the deluge of male tears.

I completely and utterly support your freedom to make decisions for yourself about how to live your life and I assume you're doing what's best for you.
