I was thinking this list would be more useful for me if there was one list and you could sort by recently updated or alphabetical order. For those of us who check every few days (which is actually quite frequent) new updates are often missed when they get pushed out of the most recent slots.

Congratulations! Cy is adorable. My wife and I (she's interviewed y'all a couple times) are expecting a child in the next few weeks. We're not ready to try homebirth but it's great to read your experiences with it.

Aside from Crokinole (second picture, round wooden board) and Carrom (same picture, square board) I wouldn’t hang games I like on the wall.

The thing with tackle boxes is not that they are more efficient at storing games, or that games should be stored together. When you have games with so many pieces it becomes a pain to set up each time. Storing pieces in boxes with divider trays greatly reduces setup time. Players generally can grab pieces and lay them out more quickly or - if they do not need to be on the table - just play them from the box when necessary.

I heartily endorse having closet space set aside for a game collection. If you have a big collection like those pictured be proud of it. If you don’t then still make sure you have space in a closet somewhere for them. I store games I don’t play anymore but still want in the basement in a plastic tote. It is heavy and isn’t efficient but it works.

Originally I planned to buy it despite the fact that it was 3-5 players because I was interested in the story and mechanics. Recent BGG posts on Android made me rethink it though - there seem to be quite a few groups (well… couples) who play 2 player. One way to do so is to simply add one extra suspect in (so you cannot guess the other players suspects as easily). Apparently the game was never play tested with two players, so it was more of an uncertainty than a definitive gameplay recommendation. The one game we played through we played this way and I thought it was great.

So I say keep it in the running! I need to pick up Rattus next, looks fun!

Have you tried Android yet? It’s in between Arkham Horror and Civilization in terms of fiddly bits. I purchased it a week or so ago and have enjoyed the story. So far we’ve only managed 1.5 games but I think it will get more play. I like the description (from somewhere on BGG) as 'five euro-games in one.'

Fantastic video. I have one quibble: if one says something like "at this time" in a video there should be something on the page that states the date the video was made. For all I know it could have been made 10 years ago and it never made it into another CSS3 module.

Have you tried Paintbook? It's all vector based like Adobe Ideas but has layers and an interesting color palette ui.

What about one universal app with an in-app purchase for iPad features? I’m not sure what features you’re thinking of adding that would be different in a universal app versus an iPad–only app but it would minimize confusion.
