I attended the event and found it to be quite enlightening, although it is much debatable whether good and original business concept should be allowed to be presented as TED Talks. Perhaps a distinction should be made between pre-operational and operational business entity?&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;This idea of employing “X” is an interesting parallel to the “Half-Farmer Half-X” mentioned in my previous post (&lt;a href="http://sohominium.blogspot.com/2009/01/permaculture-transfarmer-x.html)" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" title="http://sohominium.blogspot.com/2009/01/permaculture-transfarmer-x.html)"&gt;http://sohominium.blogspot....&lt;/a&gt;, where X = one’s passion / purpose, while attending to the Earth, thus being a TransFarmers / Culturvator (both word-play on Transformation and Culture Innovator).&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;If future events organized under the banner of TEDx could help spread the awareness and practice of Permaculture (Permanent Agriculture), then TEDx could truly be TransFarmer and Culturvator in a global manner.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;</description><dc:creator xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">erico47</dc:creator><pubDate>Thu, 04 Jun 2009 01:44:36 -0000</pubDate></item></channel></rss>
