It just seems hard to distinguish it as a unique mark for the school.

Re: New Name, Logo, and Identity for Avenor College by Storience

Maybe it's just me, but do an image search for 'koosh ball'. That was the first thing that came to mind.

Re: smiley slider

Nice work!

This would be great at hospitals. :)

Re: White People Racist Against White People?

Brian thanks for the comment.

Yes, it just points to a shallow way of thinking if that's their flippant, out of context response to anyone that disagrees with their point of view.

Re: HOW TO: Get Started with HTML5 Boilerplate

[ Bleh, comments messed up and posted in two areas.]

Re: HOW TO: Get Started with HTML5 Boilerplate

When they can admit they don't understand it one would think they shouldn't review it.

Re: http://jonathanmoore.com/post/534205447

That's funny, but wild! Maybe the animal kingdom is cracking down on the paparazzi too?

On a serious note, I'm glad he didn't have a shiny, blue helmet or something non-detachable.

Nice, blog by the way. I've enjoyed it through RSS for some time.

Re: church coolness

Use business titles in place of minister or pastor titles.

OR

Have a massive support staff... with a ratio of 8:1 (people to amount of work for a single person)
My recent post Marketing Motivation

Re: What’s Holding You Back?

I've been on the other side of this with a lesson I learned from my seven year old son. I posted about it here: http://ericcarroll.org/logs/on-judging-books-and-...

Thank you for writing what you do and making yourself accessible to others. It's a treat to read your blog (I learned about it only three weeks ago).
My recent post On Judging Books and Children

Re: Book Notes: Mentor Like Jesus by Regi Campbell

I am interested in this book mainly because people typically don't give thought to how what they do and say affects those around them, most notably their children. At our church we're trying to renew a sense of purpose and roles in families and the ways it branches out of personal life into home life, work life, etc.

I've often thought that the sense of mentoring youth is lost on today's society, but more importantly in the church. We have generations of people raised with a sense of entitlement instead of understanding the importance of mentoring and helping others.

Those are the reasons why I'd like this book. :)

Re: HELLO BAULDOFF

I guess timelessness is out the window, now. Bring on the rounded fonts and symbols that look like someone over-simplified the Obama logo and there you go.

This reminds me of the mall security badge that UPS adopted.

Re: HELLO BAULDOFF

Amen.

Re: HELLO BAULDOFF

Interesting take, but I'd prefer to be the sheep dog; never bored and rarely lonely (just enough for personal down time).

Re: HELLO BAULDOFF

Although, I don't get to look at some as nice as those, I always find myself looking at the typography choices on the back of semi trailers.

Do you think we can expect a punctuation expansion on this?

Re: HELLO BAULDOFF

That's incredible.

It makes me want to 'personalize' a 12" ruler and all its 'uneven grass.'

Re: Bauldoff Blog Audit 2008

I like what you are posting, however ...

I enjoy the images that you post, but I also like reading your take on things.
