Belonged there referring to The Current in general, or to the Top 89? I think Frank Ocean is a good example of what I would like to hear more of on The Current - stuff that doesn't feel like it fits the format but in the end, people like it.

Yeah, I did know about that place already, though I haven't been there. The boyfriend scoffed that they probably wouldn't be as good which might have rubbed off on me. I'll probably try it soon.

No! That is really neat, thanks for showing it to me!

I first heard about Khan Academy in a math class where the consensus was that the lectures weren't really anything special. I haven't talked to many others about it or other models like Sophia. But I agree with you on the vision - everyone should watch only his stuff because....it's so amazing? Because nobody can do any better? Really? I need to poke around on Sophia more, but at first glance, it's nice that the model is community based, and people can work together to show what is good and what's bad.

Yeah, that sounds like a good plan. Part of the problem is that part of the appeal of twitter is the immediacy of it - so when you're reading a backlog it's just not as interesting. SHRUG.

Yes and no. New to the purchaser, perhaps. But old clothes have stood the test of time, which means they're not the same disposable crap that is sold at most places new. There's a challenge to buying thrifted stuff - if I want something simple and specific, I'm going to have to dig, and perhaps not find it at all. And the guilt of supporting sweatshops is lessened since they've already been purchased by someone else.

BESIDES I don't really plan on doing any clothes shopping for a while.

Thanks for the tip! The problem with anything at Target though is that it's only there for a short period of time. But I'm thinking of keeping this one pair, they're practically jeggings due to how tight they are.

Haha. Yes. Instead of putting the glass pitcher on the part with the spinning blades, put the mason jar, upside down, on that. If you can't detach the pitcher from the blades, well then I guess it won't work. Good luck!

Well, of course that's okay! But, as far as I know, standard mason jars fit onto standard blenders. I just use old salsa jars and an old blender, so I don't know if fancier models work. Worth a try, though.
