I was surprised that the Truth/Debunkify campaign didn't own www.truth.com —instead some hardware company does. Oddly enough the colors are orange for this site... maybe a little misleading...but it's from my homepage @ www.empirikal.net

My 2cents:

I have no idea why you guys are arguing "cab" vs "taxi" and why it matters because a Brazilian agency made it? That doesn't mean it was ran for a Brazilian audience, the copy is clearly written in English so it most likely ran in the states. A lot of agencies will contract out banner work to other countries because it's cheaper and saves the client money. Furthermore, even if you're going to argue that Brazilians call their "Cabs" "Taxis", it's a concept and for most, the 2 words will mean the same.

As far as if the banner was actually published/ran/had a media plan, who cares? This site isn't giving people awards, it's merely showcasing inspirational or not so inspirational banner ads.

My thought's on this banner:
I think the idea is clever. I totally didn't see it coming. The execution is very well done. I believe someone made mention of the copy not fitting together entirely which I would agree. There may have been some better ways to write it out, but I think the idea is there.

I'm not familiar with how you're setting it up but an ideal situation would just be on a per update basis. Like say I upload 10 photos today, it would check for recent updates and see I uploaded 10. It would pick 1 of the 10 images, first or last uploaded, and will pull that image to the tumblr page, with a note that says "View all recently posted Pictures" or "Click to view the 10 recently updated photos"

If that's not totally possible, then something weekly or daily would be great too.

You should totally make one similar for flickr, I hate uploading 100 photos and all 100 getting posted...
