It's such a precise science, which is probably why I don't enjoy baking. And olive oil in place of a buttery crust - yuck!

Also, never use generic mayo when making chicken salad. Sometimes it's just better to spend the extra bucks for a better product!

Re: Lifescript Cook-Off: Hungry Girl’s Sweet Caramelized Onion Dip

Genius idea!

Re: Lifescript Cook-Off: Hungry Girl’s Sweet Caramelized Onion Dip

He said he liked it, but come to think about, didn't ask for another taste. My original post was speaking to child molestors and rapists (and people who knowingly have them in their life), who, like Nicole said, "are evil and ugly, no matter how you look at them, because the trauma suffered by the victims is devastating, irreparable and life-lasting." Please don't put me in the same category when you talk about the mistakes that people make.

Re: Food Bloggers: The Best of the Best

I also read the Homesick Texan. In fact, the prenup wasn't finalized until a few weeks after the wedding. And part of it states that the Kardashian family gets courtside Laker tickets. Score!

Re: How Soon Is Too Soon to be Married?

Hi JessDenise,

It's hard to judge others, and we can only hope that every marriage truly works out, even if we don't agree with their decisions.

Also, do you think your friend who had the quick marriage did so because she didn't want to wait any longer to become intimate? I hear about a lot of couples who marry quick if they have religious beliefs that say no sex before marriage, so they can get physical.

Re: How Soon Is Too Soon to be Married?

You're right, to each their own. And I must say there is something romantic about "just knowing", marrying quick, and seeing it last 40-50 years down the road.

Re: How Soon Is Too Soon to be Married?

I agree. It seems like older, more mature people can make a quickie marriage work better than younger folks. I also think quickie marriages in our parent's/grandparent's generation were more successful than they can be today. Even if they married young, they were far more responsible and mature than we were at their age, and took marriage more seriously too.

Re: Should We Question Health Studies in the News?

And just think about all the money going into these studies!

Re: 5 Tips for Raising Kids Who Like To Exercise

Great article! I'm very thankful that my parents enrolled me in soccer at a young age. They never had to push me either because I ended up loving it. It stuck, and was a great way for me to learn about fitness.

Re: Would You Date a Good-Looking Dummy?

Been there, done that. Never again. A hot bod or great sex won't make up for a lack of mental stimulation. The relationship won't work if one person is cerebral and the other person isn't at all.

Attraction is a package. The more thoughtful, personable and funnier someone is, the more attractive they become. Good looks are just the icing on the cake.

Re: Which Words Annoy You Most?

I'm an avid user of "sammy"

Re: Learning How to Cook

This is exactly what my roommate I do, and it works great!
