This is the most corrupt and crooked administration in history. Every single member and appointee of this administration, from cabinet members to judges, is a crook, a liar and a cheat.

Perhaps one reason the public isn't "riled up" is that we just don't give a damn. We've been lied to by many administrations, gone to war with indifference, suffered a cretin in the Oval Office who preformed sex acts with a tart, etc. Many citizens have just concluded tht the path forward doen't have much to do with our present, dysfunctional government.

But a vast majority of these fall in the low information and no information voter categories. Most of them likely still have little to no information because they don't pay attention to anything unless they need a new battery for their Obamaphone.

I'll posit a different theory: The public is not outraged because they don't view the publication of sensitive classified information, solely for the purpose of being first, as a strictly-protected right. The AP and Fox stories were not whistle-blowing affairs. They were not reporting on unethical, illegal or immoral conduct. They were putting our intelligence agencies at risk for the purpose of breaking a story. Frankly, I think the public believes that the respective reporters are lucky they were not arrested.

And that theory is pretty much accurate. However, it doesn't allow Mr. Hewitt to feel victimized, so he can't go with it.

"The public" doesn't know anything because the media covers it so lightly and refused to tell the entire story or explain why it is important. They almost cared. But the administration must have silenced the ones who were likely to tell the real story because, I just read two articles excusing Holder today and I am sick to my stomach.

If this gets swept under the rug freedom of speech is dead. I can't watch this country just disappear! But that is what is happening. Where will we ever find freedom again? Is there anywhere to go? We need another New World.

The reason the public doesn't care is because there's no scandal. The justice department requested a warrant, and got one. That's the way it should be.
