Ethanol costs tax payers over 50 cents a gallon. I don't know but I will bet That a lot of members of congress benefit from the tax dollars that support the ethanol industry. And it is hard on the environment to produce it!

It's also hard on cars... in my area (Hampton Roads, VA) they caught some gas stations who put more than 10% ethanol in their gas, because it was causing permanent damage to people's engines,

If Coal is no longer a available to produce electricity... the cost of electricity may double. That would kill what little industry America has and cause most individuals to abandon air conditioning and electric heat for their homes. It will also drive up all the costs of other sources of energy... natural gas and green energy sources... all sources of energy will drastically increase. Energy is the life blood of a modern society.

This Administration is working to shut down America... too, kill it. It is time that Congress acts. It is time that the States act... to protect the interest of their citizens. The political leadership must MOBILIZE the people to march on DC ... it is time that our State and Federal Representatives look out side the box for solutions to brake the grid lock in Congress. The people that engineered this fraud should be charged criminally and made to face a judge. All of the EPA regulations created by this false premise should be lifted at the very least and every law or policy that resulted from this fraud should be repealed. If nothing happens, the people of this country should donate money and file a class action suit against these entities and individuals who perpetrated this huge economic disaster that they placed on this country as well as its industry.
