Where I work, if we're in the middle of something important we may have our vacations changed in order to complete the project. Evidently, neither the President nor the Congress believe the fiscal cliff is important. But then, their bosses seem to forget their performance come election time.

Have to admit, congress did their part but the bills they pass are DOA in the Senate and the Obama doesn't want any fix, he want's to go over the cliff.

If he talked about spending cuts, it would just call attention to the huge amount of money and resources and toxic gas emissions that it takes to get him to Hawaii.

We should tell him to air up the tires & get a tune up on Air Force One & Two, to save fuel.

There are no spending cuts. They are only reducing the amounts of spending increases. Cutting ALL spending back to 1999 levels would be a good start. 1900 levels would be even better.
