Patel Gopi • 11 years ago

my credit card is in line to be swiped for nokia...

nick • 11 years ago

Same here why would i spend money to move from iphone 4 to a crapier iphone 5..

Kharab bichar • 11 years ago

I think you made a right decision. Don't go crazy like others who thinks iphone is their prestige. I dont understand why people go insane for iphone. Someone who doesn't know how to save phone numbers in their mobile phone, also think they should buy iphone. Absolutely crap

thebeast22 • 11 years ago

Yeah same here. I have a Galaxy S II. I was about to upgrade to S III but when this phone was announced, I really liked it. Now though, I've decided to get the Lumia 920 instead of S III or a iPhone 5

hysonmb • 11 years ago

The 920 needs to get in stores before the hype dies down. The gap between announcement and release is too wide. I have a 900 right now and will have a 920 the day it hits stores but the longer those other guys are on shelves and WP8 still waits for an official date, potential customers are signing up for two more years without a Nokia in their plans.

Samir • 11 years ago

That's obvious Nokia Lumia 920 is a game changer!

Ben • 11 years ago

I am definitely one of them but it frustrate me when Nokia did not announce the price and availability of the lumia 920.

Kev • 11 years ago

I have been an iPhone user since the 3GS. Had a go with Android didn't like it. Currently have the 4s. I will be getting the 920 when it is finally released. I'm bored with IOS. It never seems to change.

Rich • 11 years ago

The iphone 5 is of course doing incredibly well, although this is due to the fact that it's more of a fashion accessory and that people have bought into the closed environment.
Hopefully the Lumia 920 will be seen to be the 'cool' phone to get and will start a new trend.
Clearly fashion and peer pressure leads over innovation as can be seen by the amount of iphone 5 pre-sales.
Fortunately I don't fall into that group and will be purchasing the 920.

Simone Giovagnorio • 11 years ago

Yes I will buy the LUMIA920.
Too long shaped iphone5 and lacking incredible Nokia innovations.
I want It in cyannn please!
P.s. the Nokia brand is, actually, a classic....
.. And it's back!
Had so many cells from Noky :)

DarkMaster Jay • 11 years ago

This is so epic!! I'm so buying this!!! :D

Rob Bell • 11 years ago

I love my Lumia 800 :)

caj • 11 years ago

Having owned an imate jasjar ( running wm 5), an iPhone 3GS, I currently own a HTC pro and HTC titan:- which are decent phones, but the Nokia 920 and the windows 8 platform is the smartphone i have been waiting for for a very long time. I'm in!

Jimmy • 11 years ago

I am one of them!
It was the hardware made Nokia that impressed me, and then through learning about the Lumia 920 I learned more about Windows Phone 8 and it looks great.
I just hope the Lumia 920 lives up to expectations and won't be ovepriced once it;s released.

Nomolosanu Mihai Cornel • 11 years ago

Jimmy, Nokia didn't say the last word in the smartphone world.
Nokia is the best!!!!!!!!
Long live Nokia!!!!!!!

Em Jay • 11 years ago

NOKIA FOR LIFE!!! some f**king review, paparazzi, website, blogs etc are trying to condemn "THE BEST SMARTEST PHONE" in the world NOKIA LUMIA 920, saying the f**king iphone or whatever they call it is better than NOKIA LUMIA 920 and even predicts it not gonna sell when launch. But i got this for all those NOKIA haters that they dont have the power to stop consumers from buying the LUMIA 920, am getting 3 myself, my wife and my sis, and am positively sure it gonna sell better than the iphone shit they call it. ALL OTHER PHONE ARE SMART PHONE BUT "NOKIA LUMIA 920 IS THE SMARTEST PHONE" with originality, innovation and ground breaking technology which other smart phone will start to copy. LOL!!!

Matti • 11 years ago

Love it. Can't wait to have it. The wait is frustrating

Paul • 11 years ago

Have been waiting to upgrade since my contract ended in August from my iPhone 4. Out with the old and in with the new Nokia 920, just can't decide white or red. Growing very impatient but I know it will be worth the wait.

Michael • 11 years ago

all we need is a DATE so we don't have to get 5

Dominic • 11 years ago

I'm buying lumia 920 next can't wait.

firaga • 11 years ago

Noriel Dacer • 11 years ago

Noriel Dacer • 11 years ago

count me in

0057 • 11 years ago

Been on Android for years now, 6 months ago I got rid of my LG optimus 2x mid contract because it was SHOCKING for a duel core android phone. Got myself a Samsung Omnia running Windows 7.5 and WOW what a difference. Smoother, Faster and more responsive and that's with less tech onboard. Bring on the Lumia 920, It's gonna be beast. Long live Windows phone and Death to android ;-)

Ram! • 11 years ago

Same here.. I will go for Nokia Lumia 9201

SheldonCooper17 • 11 years ago

I, myself am a software developer, currently working on the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, and I can't wait for the Lumia 920. I've owned a Galaxy S, S2, S3, Note, obviously the Nexus, HTC one X, HTC HD7, LG optimus Black and the Lumia 800(and many more), and, despite windows phone 7 not quite being the best OS out there, it's my second favourite out of the bunch, only to the Galaxy Note, which only wins due to screen size and it being the closest thing to a replacement for a computer that I can fit in my pocket. Windows phone 8 looks absolutely amazing and I'm certain that it will be. It has many features that Android and iOS won't have for years to come and it's so efficient and quick. The Lumia 920 will be the best smartphone on the market. It will be able to do what every other smartphone on the market can do and more, whilst being the best looking and most durable. I'm truly excited for it, especially having seen how much of disappointment the iPhone 5 was. I was playing with one all of yesterday and it's even worse than you can imagine. Bring on the Nokia!

George • 11 years ago

can't wait for lumia920, nokia rocks

What • 11 years ago

I have an iphone 4 and was going to buy the iphone 5 but i dont want the same phone twice... Nokia lumina 920 its the best choice!!

WPfan • 11 years ago

Lumia 920 will change the future for nokia....and nokia once agian wud b the king of the market.
Get ready to say goodbye to iphone n androids!
Windows 8 is here! yay

Icemint • 11 years ago

Loving my Nokia N9!

P**SED OFF WITH APPLE • 11 years ago

I love the look of the 920. I have just come to the end of my N8 contract and my only problem with the phone was that the built in apps and purchasable apps were nowhere near as good as iPhone (iPhone 3GS, which I absolutely hated, traded it in after a year) or android. I think that iPhone 5 looks disappointing so I will be getting a Samsung Galaxy S3.

This website is shocking. how can the new Lumia phones be more popular than the iPhone 5 and Samsung Galaxy S3? iPhone pre-orders have surpassed 2 million and Galaxy s3 sales 20 million. Let's see those kinds of figures from Nokia then we'll talk.

Mikey_Bee • 11 years ago

Hi, the stats speak for themselves, their not figures we'll pulled up, rather polls from other websites, it just happens everyone wants a Nokia Lumia 920 :)

Rich • 11 years ago

The iphone is more 'popular' due to their patented iherding technology, but it doesn't mean it's better.

maverick • 11 years ago

One Nokia Lumia 920 please !

David Mitchell • 11 years ago

I'm between a rock and a hard place. After years of frustration with PCs I'm delighted with my I-Mac and Macbook Pro. For the average user OSX is streets ahead of any incarnation of Windows. Frozen screen? Constant re-booting? What are they?

I have an HTC Desire Android phone coming to the end of a contract so am looking for a replacement. The I- Phone 5 seems logical but I find myself increasingly uneasy about Apple's corporate behaviour and as a European I'd quite like to support Nokia if possible. If I was confident that a Windows 8 Nokia 9200 would fit seamlessly into my OSX computing set up there would be no contest but neither phone nor operating system has been launched as yet so we can't know until they are in the hands of the public what they are going to offer. I don't fancy returning to a Windows PC, even on Windows 8.

Todays news that Apple seems to have boobed in a big way over their proprietary mapping replacement for Google Maps, throws an interesting twist into the mixture so it seems for me there's still no clear winner yet in my search for the killer smart phone.

BBT • 11 years ago

Nokia seems like a good phone, but still need to put in practice. What they lack of now is the popularity on win 8 OS, the Apps, and time to proof Win 8 is better than IOS. As for now IOS is a well developed and equipped with tons of Apps. Nokia Lumia 920 is a good start, but Microsoft and Nokia still have lots of work to do.

jeyiron akemino • 11 years ago

i really want this phone. i currently have the galaxy s2 and was originally planning to get the note 2 but i have this feeling that i need to try a different platform. Windows phone 8 really looks promising but i really need to wait for the reviews of the phone before finally deciding to get it.

Uyen Do • 11 years ago

Me too.. Im yours Nokia.

richard • 11 years ago

Take the polls with the grain of salt. Most of them were placed within articles about Lumia 920. I doubt many Apple fans read those.

ERB • 11 years ago

i would buy the 920 in a heartbeat if it was on verizon....

Tachyonic Cargo • 11 years ago

So long as Nokia does not screw up and give the Lumia 920 exclusively to a limited list of carriers, thereby alienating millions of their customers, then I am all in.

The Lumia 920 is their flagship phone, and is clearly the device set to give the fortunes of Nokia a 180 u-turn. As a flagship device with the potential to rebuild the company, they need to get the Lumia 920 into the hands of as many customers as possible. And they are never going to succeed at that, if they are giving self serving carriers exclusivity on the Lumia 920. Most wireless customers are like myself; they are with their preferred carrier for a reason. And that reason tends to be that the carrier is the best fit for that particular customer. And like most wireless customers, I will not be switching to an inferior (for my specific needs) carrier just to get a phone. If I cannot get the Lumia 920 with my preferred carrier, then the HTC WP8X will simply have to do. My carrier has already confirmed they are getting the HTC WP8X, and the only thing left for me to do now, is wait, and hope, and pray that Nokia is bringing the Lumia 920 to my carrier as well.

And there lies a thing that I hope Nokia is paying attention to. The mobile industry as a whole goes on about Samsung being the #1 smartphone seller in the world, but people do not ever seem to ask how Samsung was able to usurp that position from Apple, RIM, and Nokia. Part of the reason has to be because you can walk into almost any carrier on the planet, and pick up one of Samsung's flagship devices. Whether it be the Galaxy S, or the Galaxy Note, Samsung's flagship devices are everywhere.. When even MVNOs are getting Samsung's flagship phones while those phones are still relevant in the marketplace, that is very telling, indeed. Nokia could certainly learn to take a page from Samsung's playbook, if they want to be the world's #1 smartphone OEM once again.

Right now the Lumia line of devices is the #1 selling Windows Phone, and Nokia is very proud of that fact, as they should be. But how long can they maintain, and more importantly, GROW that lead if they continue alienating potential customers like they did with the Lumia 900? I mean HTC is clearly bringing their A-game in terms of market proliferation and accessibility to as many potential customers as possible, for their upcoming WP8X and WP8S devices. They are launching with over 150 carriers, in over 50 nations around the world this fall. Which pretty much means that if you want to get a WP8X, or WP8S, you will have very little trouble getting one with your existing carrier.

It worries me that Nokia is not saying anything about which carriers are getting the Lumia 920. The silence is deafening almost, and smacks of behind doors exclusivity deals being put into place. And if that is the case I can only imagine how many millions of people who are looking forward to getting the Lumia 920 this fall, are going to be left empty handed . . . unless they switch to a carrier that is not a good fit for them just to get the phone. If Nokia takes the exclusivity route with the Lumia 920 the way they did with the Lumia 900, then come 2013, it will be HTC who is the big winner in the growing Windows Phone ecosystem. As millions of Nokia customers left empty handed, will probably console themselves by picking up the next best thing, and just getting one of the HTC Windows Phones. And that would be a shame, as the WP8X is not really the phone that everyone wants, but HTC has made damned sure that it is a phone that everyone can get. So the ball is currently in Nokia's court to do likewise with the Lumia 920, and insure that everyone who wants one this fall, can get one this fall..

HerrinSchadenfreude • 11 years ago

Well you'll be happy to learn that Nokia has not in fact, messed up and made the phone exclusive to a limited list of carriers. They have messed up and made it exclusive to one carrier. And it's the worst major carrier in the United States.

Kharab Bichar • 11 years ago

Nokia should have started selling Lumina 920 by now. I want to buy it so badly but I doubt I might lose switch to iphone or HTC. Novermber seems too long for me

Samsung galaxy ace user • 11 years ago

HerrinSchadenfreude • 11 years ago

The iPhone5 has a "5" at the end. Evidently, it shouldn't take more than that to show ya.

trob6969 • 11 years ago

I'm not interested in any of the above mentioned phones, I'm waiting for the HTC DIX.
