Step one: dumb down the electorate. Check

SNAPTIE® • 11 years ago

Romney and Obama were always going to do basically the same thing here.
The
Math is the Math.
Romney just told the truth to grownups, and Obama just
promised more free stuff for everyone and the youngsters thought if they voted
for him they would get it.
Time to grow up people, we are broke. "LIBS GOT PUNKED"

John Galt • 11 years ago

The best revenge is unemployment:)

montanalablover • 11 years ago

OMG, that's great. And believe you me there is going to be unemployment big time in the coming months and years. I have a co worker whose son graduated from college in 2008 and was never able to find a job in his degree field and here we are 4 years later and he's working in a pizza joint. These young people have been so indoctrinated by the liberal professors that they truly now believe (polls have been taken) that the government owes them and they are entitled. I hope they all starve to death or are still living in their parents basements when they're 60 years old. If they hang around long enough downstairs, mom and dad will finally pass away and they can move upstairs. Revenge is best served on a cold platter. I feel kind of sorry for them because they are all so STUUUPIIIDDDDDDDDDDD. There is no grey matter between their ears.

skelton • 11 years ago

Watching you pray for high unemployment is just sad.

Guest • 11 years ago

Um, don't think he was "praying" for high unemployment. He was predicting high unemployment as a consequence of continuing the policies of the Obama administration. What you may be confusing with "praying" is montanalovers "hope" that they are relegated to a life of living in their parents' basement to contemplate their stupidity, which seems like a natural sort of thing to hope for when such stupidity so grievously affects us all. My college-aged children will suffer also, and they actually have a clue. They are approaching college in a novel way by taking degrees in fields with income earning potential and not borrowing money, just as their parents did several decades ago.

skelton • 11 years ago

Watching you losers pray for high unemployment is just sad.

NAHALKIDES • 11 years ago

Those who voted for Obama were basically voting for more unemployment; it is only just that they should be punished by suffering the same fate they voted to impose on the rest of us.

Everyone who voted for Obama deserves to a) lose his job; b) lose his health insurance; c) be called up in front of one of Obamacare's death panels in a few years to be told that his life just isn't worth saving. That, my friend, is justice.

Keko • 11 years ago

We don't have to pray for it. It's just going to happen, and we're all going to have to deal with it. There are going to be a lot of losers before this is over.

disqus_ru71h1Cqjx • 11 years ago

Grow up Skelton, and think. I am not in position to cause high unemployment, so what I want or do not want will have no effect on what actually happens. Try to understand the principle of causality. Look it up.

arebel1 • 11 years ago

I would say the "Libs punked" everyone! Unfortunately, it will not just be them that pays the price.

themaxim • 11 years ago

The wealthy voted for Obama in overwhelming numbers. http://frontpagemag.com/201... - 8 of the 10 richest counties went for him. But I'm sure it was just all those welfare gettin, benefit takin, liberal idiots everywhere else.

LeoKiley • 11 years ago

Gentry liberals. No shortage of them, obviously. They may get blindsided like the under-30 crowd (large numbers of whom they spawned) and find themselves looking out the ear holes of their helmets, also.

Jonahs_Jackalope • 11 years ago

I'm all in favor of raising the taxes for all those in the Blue States (I'd even go as far as the counties that voted Blue). A better, more fair, way might be to just pass along an extra tax burden to everybody who voted for Obama or for Democrats at the Senator and Representative level.

Now, I know that sounds "un-American" but I recall a proposal being floated before that said we should vote on going to war and anyone who votes yes should be forced to enlist immediately. It's a similar concept. If you voted for taxes to be raised, then you should be the first to get your taxes raised.

NAHALKIDES • 11 years ago

Indeed, this is a valid principle - no one should be able to vote for any tax that he won't be paying himself. Under the Constitution our founders gave us, it was hard to vote for taxes on other people; unfortunately, Congress' power to tax is now held by the Supreme Court to be unlimited.

NCRelite • 11 years ago

Champagne socialists and limousine liberals contributed too, and that flies in the face of the narrative of the GOP as the party of the rich

themaxim • 11 years ago

Also that the Dems are the party of the takers. Red States consume many more Fed resources than Blue.

enzomedici • 11 years ago

Which is why it is ludicrous that the GOP continues to try and stop Obama from raising taxes on the rich. The rich voted for Obama in overwhelming numbers, yet the GOP keeps sticking up for the rich. If the rich aren't being taxed at higher rates now, where are all of the jobs they are supposed to be creating? The GOP should say fine, tax the hell out of the rich instead of looking like fools trying to protect them. The GOP needs to change course or there won't ever be another GOP president.

kelty • 11 years ago

can we please stop referring to high earners as 'the rich' and call them what by and large they really are - 'the successful'?

sternocreed • 11 years ago

Why continue to repeat Rush Limbaugh? Don't you see that you're the one that's been punked? For how many years, how many hours of how many days? Might it be you who lack intellectual responsibility? Otherwise, why repeat the words of a fool?

HappyG • 11 years ago

sterno, if government spending was the answer, our streets would be paved with gold, not pot-holes...it really is that simple.

sternocreed • 11 years ago

No, unfortunately, it's not that simple--especially since the law and government are deeply entangled in industry and the market, have been since the 19th century.

sternocreed • 11 years ago

The dumbing down has been going on for a long time. Rush Limbaugh is an excellent example. Or Fox News. Note that Fox News viewers are surveyed to be the least informed group. The article above is a good example of generalities that beg many questions, yet note how few questions are being asked. Add to that the lack of morality that encompasses the American right, and we can only hope that stupidity leads to extinction. We can only hope.

SanityInExile • 11 years ago

Extinction, huh? Yep...genocide...the liberal's best buddy. When your massive government overspending gets to a point where it is unsustainable and the people are starving, just kill off a few million of them. That’s the ticket.

Socialists are wolves in sheep’s clothing. Under Obamacare, millions will die earlier than they would have otherwise all under the guise of caring and compassion.

sternocreed • 11 years ago

Lots of cliches, per Fox News, no depth. This is to be expected.

sternocreed • 11 years ago

And your support for this claim is?

SanityInExile • 11 years ago

Reality. Liberals always go back to the eugenics crutch. Population control. Child-bearing licenses. End-of-life counseling. Same old story....don't growth the wealth, but spread the misery.

sternocreed • 11 years ago

You've got the slogans down, per Fox News. Now, care to make some connections?

sternocreed • 11 years ago

Can you give us some examples tying eugenics to population control and child-bearing licenses. Thanks in advance.

sternocreed • 11 years ago

Troll alert.

Apollinaire • 11 years ago

You are uninformed! That happen s with a steady diet of CNN propaganda and MSNBC LUNACY!

sternocreed • 11 years ago

Again, remember that Fox News viewers consistently shown as the least informed, even compared to CNN and MSNBS viewers. Why would you think I'd get my information from mainstream media? Aren't they all owned by corporations? Just because you worship at the ground of corporate greed and corruption doesn't mean we all do.

RVU • 11 years ago

Scott Atlas is smarter and more accomplished that Barack Obama. Look it up.

sternocreed • 11 years ago

No doubt Atlas is smart. He does belong, however, to an ideologic think tank. That said, the article itself gives scant support for major points. This is why I said that the piece begs questions rather than answers them.

sickofit5 • 11 years ago

Ironies of all ironies and a little sick humor. Single women that allegedly voted for Obama so they could have control over their reproductive rights just handed over total control of all of their healthcare to the federal government by voting for this POS.

trublutopaz • 11 years ago

What is worse is that they did it on the false promise of "reproductive freedom" which implies the woman makes the decision. My daughter, newly married, has to get insurance on her own because she could not afford the costly policy of her workplace. It covers birth control. It even covers abortion. But it doesn't cover pregnancy and childbirth. And from what she has learned from two different agents is that independent policies are not being written by ANY company to cover pregnancy. There's your reproductive freedom.

julia911 • 11 years ago

Yep, private insurance companies consider pregnancy to be a "pre-existing condition". No wonder women want those same insurance companies to pay for their birth control. But yeah, we should totally continue to trust these private companies to do the right thing in the free market.

cyndiu • 11 years ago

Hooray for health care. Thanks for participating. Thank you John Roberts!

Mother_of_4_Original • 11 years ago

My daughter is 18, studying Architectural Technology, CAD systems, and, perhaps, to get a second AS in Engineering. She's already got a job as a 10-99 contractor so she knows about the VICIOUS taxes imposed on those of an entrepreneurial bent but, nevertheless, has hopes of one day owning her own design firm.

Her response to learning that Obama had won was, "There goes my future."

jimdep • 11 years ago

You've done a good job with her. My teenagers were concerned about the election results too. I refuse to let them be indoctrinated by their teachers and the media. THEY GET IT!

disqus_yArcYntVM0 • 11 years ago

So instead of her teachers indoctrinating her, you are. Congrats!

Andy D • 11 years ago

So teachers and media should indoctrinate? That's your argument? That explains why you are who you are doesn't it.

J. D. Brooks • 11 years ago

Obviously your parents left the indoctrination to your teachers - too bad. Parents should always be the leading force in a child's life.

lettruthspeak • 11 years ago

"Poor little fool, oh yeah, I was a fool, Uh-Huh. Uh-Huh, oh yeah, Poor little fool oh yeah! Like the lady once said, "Every time you go to the bathroom you lose IQ points." Why you tools will never get it is beyond the thinking people of this country. Some simple advice for you Simpleton. Go take a math class, and indoctrinate yourself. When you finally realize things in Obamaworld don't add up, then you can give yourself a good swift kick in your buttocks. What a dope!

BearJewel • 11 years ago

Congratulations indeed! We've got a responsible parent on our hands!

citizenrich • 11 years ago

Are we not supposed to have control of our progeny?

happywash • 11 years ago

You refuse to let them be indoctrinated by indoctrinating them yourself with your hateful, misinformed rhetoric. They will soon leave the bubble you've created, and by the end of Obama's second term and the start of the next Democrat's first term, that you were wrong and based your ideas on your indoctrination by the right-wing entertainment complex.

Andy D • 11 years ago

Because there is no such thing as the left-wing entertainment complex is there and not a bit of indoctrination is practiced by your side.

Goosey • 11 years ago

It doesn't take indoctrination to look at a 1099 and become furious.

slotmech47 • 11 years ago

Right wing entertainment complex? Am I missing something?
