I agree with you whole heartedly, that you have to start with GA. so many folks make everything look great on their website but neglect the power that analytics gives them to steer the ship. Great article! We've been searching for a way to view all our business information in a single dashboard. Though GA is great for viewing website traffic info it's not so great for everything else (e.g. sales, marketing, business operations). We ended up signing up for http://www.cyfe.com for our dashboard needs. They have plenty of data sources you can connect to including Google Analytics.

Jason, what do you like about cyfe that you didn't find in Mixpanel or Seomoz? I'm curious, because we use Mixpanel, Moz and GA all for different reasons. I know that the UI on cyfe is beautiful but I have spent any time exploring. Would love your thoughts.
