Wow, they really are raising the bar. I wonder what the bandwidth requirements are on that thing to achieve 8k at 60fps.

I just wish this was available in more markets.

They say the 8K image is made up of 24 1080P streams stitched together...so to create the 3D image that would be the equivalent bandwidth of 48 1080P streams at 60 fps.

Of course a lot depends on compression too. I'll ask them if they'd be willing to do an interview so we can get some definite answers. Stay tuned for that (hopefully they'll agree).

Now 1080p looks tiny :)
