What were the idiots trying, a direct ticket to heaven ?

Modiphobics Silent • 10 years ago

They were BJP followers, and the driver was a Muslim. Sure. Feel sorry for Nitish, nothing is working for him in Bihar, what with the erstwhile secular votebankers now getting ready to genuflect before Hindu banks. This incident goes to highlight the Bihar Development model. People behaving like stampeding creatures in the wild. Jiski lathi uski bhains level of lawlessness that respects not even the force of the onrushing trains! As if endless buring of tyres and rastarokos will get them out of poverty. No sympathy from votebanker politicians for real grassroots problems of the suffering masses, is the Bihar Model of Development. It has only one plank, send the problem to Delhi and Mumbai. Join the great rape and pillage of other quasi-developed lands, since there is nothing for them in Bihar itself.

Dont call it saffron terror.

burburulla • 10 years ago

Yes then they would have burned the train with the passengers inside

bumtrouble • 10 years ago

The menace of the Bum thugs [the cult from Jasidh] is seen to be believed. and no one dares to speak up against these unruly mobs who swarm into compartments, sit on rooftops and do as they like.

Offer prayers in the morning and kill an innocent driver in the afternoon, this is India for you guys! What a shameful state of affairs, in this country.

Sphinx • 10 years ago

We are not able to implement the ban on crossing of railway track as a disciplne in counrty. On Mumbai railway tracks alone, around 3000 people die every year, most of it avoidable.

Rahul D • 10 years ago

Foregone conclusion how the a******* on net would have reacted if the people belonged to a different religion?

Anurag • 10 years ago

No one even thought before beating up the driver. It is a train running on a track and the driver follows the signals. It is not a car or a bus on a road where you have to watch others on the way.

Sanjay • 10 years ago

A model which is designed for these unfortunate idiots (who considers train tracks as footpath) is what Nitish Kumar, Congress & Amartya Sen want to replicate in India in name of 'Bihar Model'.

Raj • 10 years ago

Very well said.

Asty123 • 10 years ago

Why do we have to involve Nitish Kumar, Congress, BJP, Modi etc in everything? You forget till a few months ago BJP and JDU were ruling this state in coalition! Such things are acts of people's stupidity and not due to any political reason!

Samir • 10 years ago

Deeply saddened by the tragedy, but strangely have no sympathies towards the individuals who succumbed to this dumb theatrics. It is a train, not a bus; stopping distances are measures in kms, not meters.

Asty123 • 10 years ago

I am really sorry for families of people who lost their lives but this was really moronic on the parts of these people. An express train is not an auto which you can flag anywhere and it will stop according to your wish. Standing in front of a train waiting for it to stop according to your whim is just suicidal.

And I am sure politicians will blame the poor driver who was doing his job!

Please don't politicize it by naming Nitish (because then someone else will come and say Modi will fix it!). I am sure he doesn't ask people to stand in front of the trains. According to some reports some of these people were Kanwariyas who are notorious for their mob behavior. Not surprised that they thought they may even flag a train!

Rahul D • 10 years ago

Yup its the mob behavior and subsequent dis-regard for laws.Be it kanwariyas/Shab-e-rat bikers or sikh bikers
