jaywambua • 10 years ago

move on for heavens sake! move on...................

John Obutu • 10 years ago

Othaya poeple had already dicided respect them.

Richard Mushene • 10 years ago

O Level is a piece of paper, degree likewise, pieces of paper that says you wasted time in an institution while the real education was happening in the streets, gaining experience on the Job as a Nursery School Teacher, to business woman to MP.
Hon.Wambui desearves an honorary Doctorate in her contribution and inspiration to governance and child education.
Go figure Mr. King'ara. The better woman won this right here. try again in 2018.

Lloyd • 10 years ago

why would people elect somebody who did not go to high school? anyway its othaya so im not surprised.

birika • 10 years ago

All her accomplishments reveals a woman of inner strength and wisdom. Her constituents has faith in her. She beat her rival publicly, that means the Kenyans from that area preferred her. That is the diversity we need in parliament.

Subira • 10 years ago

Your CV Mr. King ara.
I have very much respect for nursery teachers, imagine we give them children who do not know how to read and write and wala, they give us graduates ready for class one.
Kudos nursery teachers!

Philip Kabugua • 10 years ago

Mr Kinga'ara should do his own soul searching and revisit the cases he had been handling and the complaints leveled against him.

Kifaru • 10 years ago

We still have a very long way to allow the rule of law to guide our lives in Kenya. Despite the new constitution, all institutions remain compromised and heavily controlled by the elites in Nairobi. I have always blamed the elected leaders, but I am switching my blame to the Wanainchi who are completely blinded by tribalism that they cannot see any problem electing corrupt or unqualified Kinsmen. At some point I thought the young generation will save us, but the last generation equally confirmed to me that the youth will just flow wherever the tribal waters take them.

James • 10 years ago

Who among those MPs was eligible?.

ginahkisha • 10 years ago

education doesn't matter, her committment to her constituency matters more.. how many politicians with degrees are there n yet they do nothing to their people?? let her do her job....

Joe • 10 years ago

Sonko is not a degree holder but Nairobi people with all the education they think they have elected him to be a senator. He got more votes than any other political leader in Nairobi meaning people had faith in him. We need wise people who know what people want to lead in Kenya not some political correct hooligans in the name of educated chaps. We elected idiots in parliament and now they think they own us. We shifted power from office of the president to worse institution called parliament.

Ken Ken • 10 years ago

She needs to read and write, therefore education matters!

844product • 10 years ago

Education doesn't matter? Really? Just because we have politicians without degrees doesn't mean we should throw in others who only have a primary school education. You can't throw bad after bad and expect good.

iheartbilhaBilha • 10 years ago

Again, democlachy is on triol.

Mimi Mpenzi • 10 years ago

I anglee

coldtusker • 10 years ago

LMAO...

Butubla • 10 years ago

She and very many honorary MP's were not eligible but were passed and elected.
No shocker here!

Mla chake • 10 years ago

pliz read, proverbs 28 verse 4. It says; Those who forsake the law praise the wicked but those who keep the law resist the wicked

darubini • 10 years ago

Excellent. You are bright are man or woman. This very simple truth should be shouted to kenyans from the mountains and hills. Some laws, except those enacted to keep dictatorship from falling, are enacted for very good reasons, but kenyans always find their own "good" reasons why some people should be exempt from the law-for example, those who "donate" money for"develpoment",thereby putting into leadership, characters that should not be there in the first place,or are hopelessly unable to grasp what is required.

Bernard Kiarie • 10 years ago

If she is accused of rigging that another case. But for integrity and lack of academic qualification the peopled Othaya knew about it before they chose her to be their leader. They courts should not interfere with the peoples will.

mashinani • 10 years ago

It is not just this lady who is alleged to not have qualified for the elections.... we know of 2 other suspects as well !!!!

jio199 • 10 years ago

According to IEBC, Sup Court and EURO observers, the election was free and fair. or did I miss something?

thulicious • 10 years ago

Nice try man. Hear-says will not help you here mr. Peter King'ara. This Wambui was elected by the people of Uthaya despite all those inuendos that you seek to capitalise on. I don't care a thing about her. But the law cannot help you here. She has to be caught by other means so as to have her recalled, thereby creating room for you. Otherwise, as things stand, she is the MP of Uthaya. If elections are called today, she will still win against you. So, stop wasting time and move on.

golditberg • 10 years ago

People who scream for evidence may one day get a rude shock when it is produced and reproduced with ease. But you are right; who cares.

Guest • 10 years ago

kangara i know you, and you know me well! we come from the same place,.... but, wacha panganga. mama winnies record for development,,, water, elec, women small projects is at par with none sitting politicians in OTHAYA YOU KNOW IT, WE ,VOTERS, KNOWS IT! from where i dwell at far lands my money is where my mouth is on this issue si kwa umbaya ...try next time, compete among yourselves for the good of our county. si kwa umbaya...with a smile, buddy!

JohnAchima • 10 years ago

How did Wambui pass the language test and educational requirement

opong1 • 10 years ago

This is Kenya bwanaaaaa

Matenjagwo • 10 years ago

Wambui has done more for Othaya People so far even before being elected than this wannabe King'ara. This guy is just an attention seeking thug and deserves no more of attention.

opong1 • 10 years ago

But she has done kenya as a whole more harm, to hell with you guys

HabariMan • 10 years ago

Wouldn't that be an irony? Wambui Ineligible because she was mentioned
in the post election violence investigations. Uhuru and Ruto Eligible
when they have been charged at the highest international court on the
same matter!! Kenya never seizes to amaze.

mig74 • 10 years ago

there are kenyans and there are the kenyans

Cenotaph3011 • 10 years ago

Uhuruto weren't eligible though. Kenya's institutions let the people down.

mayaka • 10 years ago

ha ha, I wish Kingara can read this.

Ojuolo1 • 10 years ago

...never ceases...

mashinani • 10 years ago

Hahahahaha

HabariMan • 10 years ago

Thanks Ojuolo1. That was a typo. :)

Guest • 10 years ago

I know, right? the irony!

ShManzar • 10 years ago

Wah wah!! Now they wake up. If true, such scrutiny needs to take place prior to election not after

DeMulato • 10 years ago

As an Othaya resident I have a few reasons why I voted for her. After 38 years with an MP who more had a national than a local scope, I needed an MP who would be more at the ground and less bickering in the Parliament; and thats why the big project at this moment is circulating irrigation water to homes, concentrating on coffee prices and tea. This requires no degree but committment and desire to bring a change. We have a lot of Drs & Professors just making noise in parliament.

Ojuolo1 • 10 years ago

Very true! The noise makers have one thing in common...greedy pigs!

changeimpact • 10 years ago

Very very much true, most degree holders are a disgrace!!!!

darubini • 10 years ago

Why did you come to such a conclusion? Was it through research or through observation?.

Tom Randiki • 10 years ago

Both. Though more of an observation since all parliamentary reps are graduates, and if Duale is right that thieving Kenyans vote for thieving MPs, then it follows that Kenyan graduate thieves vote for Kenyan graduate thieves who go on to be a disgrace in the National Assembly and Senate.

amanikenya • 10 years ago

There are three beings you cannot lie to 1) God 2) Yourself 3) The devil; since whatever you do whether good (righteous) or bad (evil) you cannot hide (lie) from (to) God, Yourself, and the devil. You may twist language to suit and defend yourself so that you may justify your actions BUT the TRUTH will ALWAYS PREVAIL. Remember a guilty man (woman) is always on the RUN even when no one is chasing. This is because the two witnesses God and the accuser KNOW the TRUTH so the solution is to REPENT because there is no sin that God cannot forgive

ABANDONED • 10 years ago

I Know this is beside the point, but I think we need more GENUINE PREACHERS like you in Kenya. The ones we have convince us to cheat even ourselves and they succeed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Samuel Kinyanjui • 10 years ago

Amen. So after the sermon what's the message? I might have missed it.

Kathungu Kathungu • 10 years ago

And kamotho was right, some parts/it doesnt matter the person, but the party that sponsors you... And that is the member of parliament with equal vote in the house...We are doomed

yesuwangu • 10 years ago

wambui is not to blame, clearly this shows the dismal performance and poor work done by IEBC this is an example why IEBC should be again reconstituted since it lacks the integrity and capacity to handle a democratic constitution election as per the law.hassan has failed again he should be stopped since he has shown that he and his team can be compromised

mashinani • 10 years ago

Thank you for stating the TRUTH that so many are scared of talking about. One of the worst institutions we have today
