Emperors, Kings, Dictators, all manner of Tyrants, have used food-tasters forever. Our Dictator obviously sees the need to do so--hopefully with good reason.

I'm not a fan of Obama by any means, but a food "taster" who is a secret service agent is normal, and has been used by all past presidents that I know of (I met a food taster for Ronald Reagan years ago at a party). I'm sure the unloading of the rifles was the doing of the secret service.

I'm shocked that anyone reading this information has no clue that president's have food tasters. It's always been that way as far as I can remember. Just do a little research...if you're smart enough to know how to manage that. W had one. I'm sure that makes you all feel better about yourselves....

This is nothing new, the President normally only eats meals served by his Military culinary staff. I knew 2 of the cooks that went on to serve in President Bush's kitchen. The president does not eat food that is prepared by anyone else but his culinary staff without a taster and time. You may call this a paranoia thing, but it doesn't bode well for the Secret Service if potus goes down from a home cooked meal. I by no means like nor agree with obama's administration of lie's, bigger lies and just flat our whoppers but I think his arrogance here is slightly diminished by SOP.
