Naheed blew a gasket after Ezra Levant revealed that the city had wasted over $300,000 in tax dollars by giving it to the anti oil sands Pembina Institute with the full knowledge and blessings of Nenshi. Nenshi has a screw loose in his head and has some serious issues with self control. What city administration would fund a group of radical eco nuts dedicated to destroying the industry that said city prospers from? The Pembina Institute is doing the bidding of Saudi Arabia and other blood oil regimes who want to keep Canadian oil, primarily from Alberta, off the market.

I have no problem with Pembina. Just 'cuz the integrity-challenged oil-shill Levant calls them eco-nuts does not make them so. I still don't like the money going to them, but when Levant is the messenger I cannot help but question the message.

He makes good points I said. As in the world is using more oil than ever and it is going to stop anytime soon, so promoting oil that comes from a country that supports civil rights and equality beats the heck out of anything coming from the middle east or south america.

You are easily amused then. I read Ethical Oil and enjoyed it well enough, but look for more than that from editorial from a so-called "news" agency. The Sun is of course not required to show any integrity. It is simply something I prefer. And my opinion matters because I speak up to make it matter. If the minority always shut up the majority would impose its will unchallenged and democracy fails. Ezra himself would most likely deride you for stating "And just who are you that your opinion matters?"

And he is indeed no more answerable to me than I am to you. I dislike your last statement, however. If it quacks like a duck and smells like a duck...logic says it is a duck! Very evasively crafted website I might add.

Wow, do you get to come outside often? Did you ever hear of this thing called the internet? It can help you do some basic research on issues of the day. Try going to their website and see for yourself or are you just to blind to see what is right in front of you?

If you read Levant's article on the Pembina people who produced the report you will agree he's right on the money. There is hardly a scientist among them. Check it out, and keep an open mind - it's a good article.
Remember, nobody is always right or always wrong.
