It's definitely difficult to watch what is happening to America. And most of it is completely unnecessary. Thank you, Democrats.

Syberlink • 10 years ago

Thank you people who stay at home because they are to lazy to vote for America. How many people have died for American? How many people will not even get up and vote once every couple of years? Get active and get your family and friends to care enough to vote. We are going to need twice as many votes just to overcome the new Mexican voters.

camp50 • 10 years ago

In May, only 10% of registered voters in my county elected to cast ballots for local primary candidates. Many are the same people who claimed in 2012 that they were being disenfranchised by voter ID laws.

Syberlink • 10 years ago

The Liberal Progressive Democrats are masters at what they do. We are walking the line of no return and Americans will not give 2 to 6 hours every couple of years to stop tyranny. They watch the media and complain about, "what can I do" "my vote does not count" etc. Once the immigration law passes they will have millions more to vote in elections and spend our money. There is going to be three classes of people, Slaves (taxepayers) Slave Owners (non working voters) and Elites (exempt Hollywood, unions, gov employees) They will look back and say, maybe I should have voted, when It would have changed things?

"It is getting harder to be an American."

Yep, and I was proud to be American and of America until the MOOSLUM-in-Chief KING OBONGO and Queen MOOCHELE occupied "The Peoples House" !!

I am an Unemployment Claims Examiner for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

If you look at raw numbers, REAL numbers, it's WORSE.

And don't anyone try to tell me that these consequences of "Progressive" programs and corruptocrat cronyism is UNintended.

But it's all good!

Unless there is a clear, stark difference between laying low, going with the flow and slowly becoming slaves,And FIGHTING to restore CONSTITUTIONALISM and the PROSPERITY that creates?

Our Brave, New "Progressive" MASTERS would win.

Thankfully, they are not only CROOKS and TYRANTS, but INCOMPETENT FOOLS as well...

Eventually, Americans will realize that we haven't had a representative government since 1860, when big business got Lincoln into office and then declared war on the States. Free market capitalism died at the same time, we just didn't realize it until 1913 when the Bankster cartel formally took over the Federal monopoly on power and money. We've had a fascist dictatorship since then and your vote has meant exactly squat. The only way to return to a Jeffersonian representative Republic is the way our Founders did it in 1775.

Eventually, when Americans find that every person in the world is entitled to a job in the USA, except for them - all in the name of diversity. When they find themselves a dirt poor minority in the country their fathers founded. When they find out that diversity is not THEIR strength, but the strength of their enemies.

Eventually, but not today. Today many Americans will go to work at their corporate jobs chanting the mantra, "Diversity is our strength;" until is isn't.

And it's too late.

I definitely agree that the headline stats way overstate where we are, but we need to be a little more discerning in the reporting here.

For one thing, I'd like to know how much of the "9 million more who'd be working" calculation under-counts the elevated number of retirees due to the baby boomer population. Perhaps 2M? Assuming so, that still leaves 7M who would be working.

We don't need to over blow the case to make the valid point that the numbers the MSM are celebrating hide some of the stark reality.

If/when we do so, we just give Libs and the MSM fodder for taking down OUR credibility, taking attention off of the proper focus - THEIR credibility.

Obamanomics have destroyed America !

..just what Obama & Jarrett wanted.

Joe • 10 years ago

Anybody notice that Obama thought it was great idea that they had Voter ID requirement in South Africa?

Sylvia_Allen • 10 years ago

The red states have jobs. And, they are banning gun control, passing voter ID, defending marriage, refusing to implement Obamacare and more. Follow them online at Conservative States.

oh poor little honeyheads. life sure is hard - send Ryan to go talk to them about how the best and brightest days are on their way now!!!!

Hey just an FYI - My comment here was not to Syberlink and in a different place in this comment string when I posted it. Before it was moved in this part of the string, it had ten likes and zero dislikes. Pain in the as$ forum platform. It is so bad. :(

Have you taken your meds yet today?

Guest • 10 years ago

She's talking about Ryan the twerp commenter, not Paul Ryan. I just figured that out.

Guest • 10 years ago

That hit me after a read a couple of more comments. My bad, and my sincere apologies to Pamby.

Yup, after I read her post below I came back up and changed my down vote to an up...

very odd actually, because my comment was not in response to Syberlink, rather to Camp50 somewhere else in this thread that I can see and included a Ryan comment that our best and brightest days were just around the corner because of O.

Thanks to people who refused to hold their nose and vote for Romney
But whatever it is what is

Syberlink • 10 years ago

If enough people got up and voted, even for a independent or write in, that may help change the party. What would happen to the GOP if Bart Simson got more votes the Romney? Would they listen to Americans before the next election? We have to show the government we care but will not settle for the less of two evils.

JaneStrange • 10 years ago

We voted in California, you see where that got us - in front of a Kangaroo court judged by a closeted biased homosexual who came out then retired as soon as he tossed 7 million votes into the garbage can. Judge Walker Vaughn is now living in the lap of luxury with his homosexual lover on the millions he was paid by the homosexual lobby. I'm cynical as an American and my vote can't overcome the one party rule.

Helluva3ngineer • 10 years ago

Kiss my a$$. Many people refuse to vote because the game is rigged. It's not that they are lazy. Any candidate who is not vetted by the global elite are marginalized and thrown out of the primaries. The "right-wing" media (who also support globalist efforts) did a smear job on Ron Paul and you Red Team devotees fell for it hook, line, and sinker. Try thinking for yourself next time.

I refuse to vote for anyone who will further the agenda of destroying the Constitution and America, no matter which "team" they are on.

Syberlink • 10 years ago

That is what the progressives want. You are the dream voter. Get you to not care and give up so the progressives can run the country and the world. Did you vote for Ron Paul or just say it does not matter? How about getting every person who says it does not matter to vote for Ron Paul? You may find that more and more people might start looking away from the two party system. I have 4 living family members who have served protecting our rights and many who have died for America and now I should kiss your ass because you don't want to vote or get involved. First of all there is no such thing as "right-wing" media. Fox is center-left at best. You just keep doing nothing and blame every one else as America fails and the Constitution is destroyed. I will keep fighting and trying because I care for my country and will not just give it away to the progressives who want to destroy it.

hi_hellothere • 10 years ago

GW - lowest was 4.2 %

Unemployment 6 months after Obama starts - 10.2 %

Now - 7.6 %

As we can see, GW's economy was built on the lies of the biggest banks that were too big to fail... The libertarian gop utopia collapsed on us. The mistaken invasions? Still paying for them. The housing bubble under the GOP controlled house/senate/presidency? Still paying for it. GW's which you all voted for is the biggest joke in our history. How dare you try and compare Obama to GW. GW started the Tea Party, even the GOP was sick of him.... Bill Clinton was a star at the Democratic convention, GW wasn't even invited to the GOP convention.

Syberlink • 10 years ago

Really? blame Bush? GW started the Tea Party? The banks where forced by the government to give loans to anyone so every American can have a home. That was a democrat idea supported by the GOP. The government had to cover the losses of the banks because the government made it all happen through force. Tarp and all that other pork was just a great way to pay off all the friends and family of the government. If you really think this is all about GW and Obama, you are lost. Large central government that is not following the constitution or even the law of the land, is the problem and must be fixed.

BastilleDay, 2112 • 10 years ago

Where did you get these stats from Media Matters, MSNBC, CNN or another propaganda source? This is OBAMA's Economy and it has been for over 5 years now!

Jared • 10 years ago

democrats? both parties have driven this nation into the ground, wake up.

migtex1234 • 10 years ago

There you all go again== takes BOTH sides to create the problem !
There is no dirrerence in our political parties anymore.... just lip service.
Serves as a distraction so you will not notice they are the same.

yes, change and hope comin' round the bend. Once everyone has nothing - we'll all be the same and dance in the rain!! woohoo. cannot wait.

Here's the thing Ryan, we like America. Transition to mimic other failed economies and governmental systems is actually NOT American.

Well would we be doing better with McCain and ...whats her face? How about if Romney and Paul Ryan were in office? It's all speculative, and there can truly be no wrong answers, but my guess is that they would have inherited a crappy economy too. McCain would have us fighting another war for the sake of Israel and their fear of losing their status as the only middle east nation with nuclear weapons....and then he'd have the Syria issue later where we claims we should be doing more. Romney could go either way, but my guess is poverty would be cut in half probably by the next year. Not because of a better economy, but because he would slash the social nets that keep the poor fed and they would simply die off.

sisterdo • 10 years ago

Europe is a failed hellhole. They started many world wars (more than the two named ones), the last one alone was birthed from the roiling anger of Europe's miserable crazed extremists and claimed 50 million lives at least. Their best days were in the ancient empires rotting in their backgrounds where now you have roads that are falling apart and bureaucracies that run their bureaucracies.

They've only banded their little hellhole countries that don't even speak the same languages together in order to compete with our great country. As usual, we're the leader.

America is the first modern democracy. It has done nothing but expand rights to more and more citizens over time.

We always have to fight the pro-European socialists who want to bring their failed dependency to us but it can be done.

("Take your European socialism straight to hell" -- fine patriot, real man, no body's Democratic b*tch, future president Allen West)

JonS • 10 years ago

Totally agree with you first part, and I do see opportunity to undo what Obama and the Dems did that's why I joined to local Tea Party and only contribute directly to candidates that will promote my agenda. Never again will the GOP and the RINO's see a dime of my money as a blanket organization.

pamby • 10 years ago

LOL - okay by your *ahem* logic only the unsuccessful are unhappy with the direction that O is taking us? You do understand at least how that makes less than no sense? It's totally adorable, don't get me wrong, but it's so completely fundamentally senseless. thank you! :) I'm going to go back now to my horrible, terrible, and oh so awful life and wish I could be like you, happy go lucky Ryan! bless!

Syberlink • 10 years ago

Does anyone really think Obama is running the transformation of America? with Bidens help? There are some very powerful and smart people playing a game of risk using the real world and people. This is a fight of good vs evil and I hope good wins.

pamby • 10 years ago

me too. It's frightening what's happening.

The "Sane" Silence Dogood • 10 years ago

Maybe it has a LOT to do with the less we see in our paychecks every month when we make the same wage as last month...

shirtsbyeric • 10 years ago

That's why I moved back to NH from California and started my own business after seeing my industry being over run by illegal aliens (many who were my friends) and wages decline to minimum wage. I pay my employees twice the minimum but I know the wave is coming.

Doa74656 • 10 years ago

Where is your incentive to be successful when the govt just takes what you earn and gives it to people who do NOTHING
In the former Soviet Union people had 2 jobs
1 job was to earn a living the second job was to try and get around the system
