Of course, its easy to find holes in this article and ridicule the author, but these kind of articles are at least thought provoking, unlike major US news channels which are designed not to stimulate thought, unless it's related to share prices and business. Perhaps US news and media is a bigger cause of mental illness...

Laszlo Traffa • 11 years ago

...though it is a great time to buy your own home in the States. So freaking cheap! ;)

Tee Cho • 11 years ago

It is still home ...HOPE for redemption. Few places on earth match the grandiosity of Americanism.
BTW, hello pal.

Laszlo Traffa • 11 years ago

Hi yerself. I'm having a break from squashing zionists. ;)

Tee Cho • 11 years ago

Zion-dragon slayer. Squash them into oblivion and insignificance, miserable pieces of pig you know what...

Laszlo Traffa • 11 years ago

I wonder how many really post on AJE if you discount sock puppets. Uzi put a comment in one article and presto, he had 15 likes. My big thing at the moment is the revelation that the KGB had infiltrated Mossad way back when. Which means the Russians have many files on Mossad ops....which they could open up for public scrutiny. Now, wouldn't that be fun?

Rog • 11 years ago

You mean like Lee Harvey Oswald being the patsy for the real assassins?

Laszlo Traffa • 11 years ago

No. Not conspiracy theory stuff. What Mossad assassination squads really get up to. What Israel does covertly to create situations they desire. False flag ops etc. We know they do these things, just more information would be good. Ok, a good example would be Israeli covert activities in Iraq since, I dunno, 1970? It would give the world community a much clearer idea of just what Israel does outside her borders.

guidecca • 11 years ago

If the KGB are so all-knowing....why do they sit on their hands and watch? Spy games? What are the rules? Infiltrate the Israeli intelligence agency and bring down zionism. That is what they should be doing - if they really know anything.

Laszlo Traffa • 11 years ago

They weren't all-knowing but they apparently made everybody else's intelligence agencies, including the pathetic Mossad, look sub-standard. Why didn't they attempt to bring down Zionism? If you infiltrate an agency that shares data with your enemy (The US) why would you want to destroy Mossad?

"What are the rules?" or you mean, what do they do?

1. Information gathering and analysis. Includes stealing the 'secrets' of others.

2. Assassination squads (in Mossad's case).
3. Manipulation of targets (people and Govts).
4. Covert infiltration of target countries.
5. Other (there's always something else!)

If Russia has such records then making them public could have a profound effect on the public perceptions of Israel and Zionism. BUT this must be weighed against any who still serve in their infiltrated positions. It's a delicate game and seriously, the whole thing IS a game, played by men who, just maybe, never grew up.

psyisascam • 10 years ago

wow - no other site would allow such blasphemy

Laszlo Traffa • 11 years ago

More like the Hydra. There's no point cutting off the heads because more appear. You have to go for that precious pearl it wears around it's neck.

guidecca • 11 years ago

I just can't take those Ortho Jews with the black hats and crazy face hair. They make Jamaican Dreadlocks look good. Those pasty white faces yuk. Why does everyone hate them? Through time, history, up to the present. What do they do that makes them so unlikeable?

Russ • 11 years ago

How they look is no bother to me...it is their sense of entitlement, refusal to work, or become involved in anything other than endless religious study, (while debating the tiniest little insignificant scriptural meanings) which garners my scorn.

zombi • 11 years ago

sign of mental illness

Laszlo Traffa • 11 years ago

Zion's mental illness? You could be right, who knows?

Russ • 11 years ago

well now you can just stop loitering around and get back to your bug squashing work like a good lad !

Saverio Sciacca • 11 years ago

Greetings Traffa & Tee,
Adesso siamo tre!
(Now we r three!)
I don't know how we arrived at the Zios,
but here's 2 thoughts: Dr Salk wavered his
patent for Polio!
I began at puberty to hallucinate dangers
coming at me 24/7/365 whether I was hving
Problems or not, reminded me of the publicized
Demons that always haunted Martin Luther!
Many yrs later, I was given the modern anti-depressive
pill, which prolongs the 'Serotone' that one produces
daily. My negative thoughts disappeared since!
I hv enjoyed life more since. Unfortunately, one of my
daughters is depressed from Nov. to Mar annually, but
refuses to take the pill!
Best Regards,
sciaccadana

Our world gets more and more bizarre with each passing year...endless contradictions serve to not only confuse the average mind, but to addle it to a point of apparent mental unbalance. It's absolutely mind boggling to live a semi sane life in the world today..unless you are lucky enough to be isolated on a polar ice cap, and even there some news carrying Eskimo might suddenly appear and ruin everything.

guidecca • 11 years ago

Russ, there are places that are not cold, not hot, just right. The people are relatively sane and your neighbors are not living 10 feet away. The hippies and rich people have kept development to a minimum by limiting water meters - so there is a line for water meters. Can you guess which island?

Laszlo Traffa • 11 years ago

Hahahha. Sounds like Oz.

guidecca • 11 years ago

Maui - its affordable if you don't mind alternate but healthy lifestyle.

Laszlo Traffa • 11 years ago

Ok...we're an island too. ;)

Laszlo Traffa • 11 years ago

There's no question that anti-depressants work and can alleviate some of the symptoms. Have a close look at Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, it may be a great help.

Jason Kelly • 11 years ago

'Perhaps US news and media is a bigger cause of mental illness...'
Studies have been shown that people who watch news programs are generally more stressed out than people who don't watch news programs. When you have talking heads on the tube screaming at you to believe what they want you to believe than it tends to stress people out.

Tee Cho • 11 years ago

Very true Mr. Jason Kelly, our minds are over-wired with sensationalisms, hyperactivity and unrealistic projections and expectations. Just judge by our consumerism appetites, why in the world does anyone need as much as we enjoy in this country unless he/she is consumed by greed and selfishness? It is estimated that half of everything we consume in America is wasted. To put it in perspective, we are less than 5% of the world's population, consume more than 23% of the world's resources and still rank among the least content and happy people in the known universe. That's more than 6 times the utility of our fellow humans and yet so unsatisfied and unhappy! Why such emptiness and vanity?

Jason Kelly • 11 years ago

Normally, a materialistic mind cannot be satisfied since the mind cannot focus on what truly matters, the present moment. I believe most mental illnesses and some physical diseases stem from an unhealthy mindset.

FeedTheRightWolf • 11 years ago

I happened to be thinking on this over Easter (not sure if you celebrate Easter - and when I say Easter, I am referring to the whole Easter Bunny, chocolate side of it) and feel I may have in part touched on where what you refer to as 'greed' and 'selfishness' is born (in part of course, but the part speaks to an overall example of the whole)

Happy Easter kids! Here is your immediate and superficial joy stimulant so you can spend your adult lives wondering why you are not satisfied and purchasing useless items to fill a void the items will never be able to fill. Consider it our gift to you, offering artificially sweetened joy to receive a just as artificially sweetened love and affection in return.

Tee Cho • 11 years ago

With reverence and much regards, I am much obliged by your insight. We are immersed in it to the point of insanity/sickness, and need a drug for cure/health!

FeedTheRightWolf • 11 years ago

I know the solution is educate educate educate but (as I have said before) the problem with education is cost. The cost of educating can be calculated but the cost of not educating cannot be calculated and the first thing any economist does with a cost that can't be calculated is ignore it.

Tee Cho • 11 years ago

We'll soon find out, won't we!

FeedTheRightWolf • 11 years ago

I'd love to share your enthusiasm but have a very real fear (and I do not fear anything to be honest) that we will suffer the consequences of not educating to such an extent that mankind will not be around any longer to correct it.

My solution to education is so all encompassing that it is best just to forget about it.

Laszlo Traffa • 11 years ago

You're talking about the Great Chocolate Orgy!

Russ • 11 years ago

American consumerism is taught from cradle to grave...and for what it's worth so is religion....understanding this (and how the human mind works) gives us a bit of latitude to help correct the problem. Sitting in judgement on brainwashed 'mechanically' made addicts is a huge waste of time.

FeedTheRightWolf • 11 years ago

Great post(s)...
You can't blame people for learning what they were taught.

But you can blame the mothers who lied to them.

Tee Cho • 11 years ago

That's an average American for you, chronically misguided and profusely anti-intellectual.

Russ • 11 years ago

Misguided is a great word for mass media, and it's ilk. Many Americans have been kept in the dark, and ignorant through mass media. Ignorance is curable...what this country needs are educators who are devoted to teaching critical thinking and to be rid of the idiots who pass for teachers here today.

Laszlo Traffa • 11 years ago

Maybe I'm wrong but the Internet is having a profound effect. People can 'bypass BS' and obtain enough information to make informed choices.

jonny • 11 years ago

You're wrong. It's fascinating. The answers are all there. But people don't want to be correct. They want other things.

Fix that and you fix everything. Don't fix that and there's no point to fixing anything.

Laszlo Traffa • 11 years ago

I'm not quite sure what you mean. I used to think the LAST place to find reliable information was the Internet. I think reliable information is there, it may just take some sifting. Access to foreign media is definitely a bonus.

jonny • 11 years ago

What % of the critical mass is sifting looking for truth?

What % of the critical mass is spending all their time criticising? I think you'll find between the two you'll cover 100%.

Truth is not valued in this world. I know why. Do you?
Whores have a motive for selling sociopathic deceit to their children and drilling a hatred of truth into innocent children. What is it? I know. Do you?
The extent of the malice and horror is unfathomable. Their vile determination to protect their illegitimate entitlement (they know they don't deserve or they wouldn't be lying about it), knows no bounds. They'll kill their own children to protect their imagined lucky status.

No one likes sex that much. It's getting ridiculous now.

...Entitled egocentric freaks is a more appropriate labeling.

Russ • 11 years ago

add to that the words 'fear filled' and this American will agree.

misstc • 11 years ago

I don't think it's just US govt., remember, they all want control of the masses and if media doesn't work, those happy dancing pills will change your mind.

Ms. Belen Fernandez is cryptic and magical in her intuition and objectivity, her insight to pinpoint the framework, the foundation of contemporary issues. This article is no exception in the long list of her display of exceptionality, distinction and extraordinary intellectual ability. Hats’ off on every article, this is beyond remarkable display of care and affection for America, humanity and the world ...what it must feel like to truly love America like Ms. Fernandez. I totally love this woman.

Too bad that her messages and prophecies are lost on her detractors and the many insolent visitors to these threads.

Laszlo Traffa • 11 years ago

You're the president of her Fan Club, aren't you? The Divine Ms Fernandez. ;)

Tee Cho • 11 years ago

Good one my friend Traffa, if I have my wish, I'd more rather be everything “Ms. Belen Fernandez”, far more than a mere President of her Fan Club and numero uno FAN. I like her intellectual touch and perspective, her spirited combative attitude, her passion and compassion, her confidence and unparalleled integrity, her innocence and sincerity that often culminate naivety, and by God, if I must admit, she's effervescently stunning to haters. ...Never the kind that avoids meaningful and warranted confrontation from egomaniacs. A partner like her will do miracle for the soul. Never mind that I also think that she is profoundly beautiful. Viola, totally admit my Belen Fernandez-mania.
