Thank God for Kagame and Museveni, whose capable leadership has managed to maintain a modicum of sanity in a region suffering from the consequences of unrelenting and pernicious foreign manipulation, abetted by incompetent and corrupted local quislings. The Great Lakes Region shall begin to heal once the leaders of some of the countries in the region stop trooping to Western capitals to receive their marching orders and their 30 pieces of silver for selling out their countries and the collective interests of their sub-region. The healing shall also start when leaders of all countries in the sub-region stop allowing rapacious foreign exploiters of our natural resources to use them ad their cats' paws against their neighbours.

The so called Great Lakes Region will never see peace so long that Museveni and Kagame remain in power. They are the main culprits of instability in the region with their expansionist agenda, and those who back them.

It doesn't matter if they link up and rebaptize their genocidal programme with a new name; their goal of exterminating a section of our people remains constant.
However, it is never too late to repent, lay down their arms and return to their Motherland where they can join the rest of us in rebuilding the nation that they all but destroyed. Despite their past crimes against their country at remains theirs as much as it is for the rest of us. They just need to recognize that fact and abandon their genocidal programme. How they are received will very much depend on how they choose to come: with open arms and DDDRR if they return on peace; by the RDF if they prefer to cross into their country's borders with guns in hand and murder in their hearts. The choice is really theirs, but the outcome is also ours all.

Time to negotiate. The is no other solution. Rwanda will never be at peace unless the government solves the land problem and embraces inclusion in government. Aall Rwandese have rights to live and participate in the government of their coutry and not only to vote.

the cycle of raping is overdue and now they are on heat. Now they feel cheated that it has taken more than 20 years without them eating livestock, raping and pillaging. Though they have been doing so at will with their colleagues FARDC, I think FARDC is telling them to pay by venturing together to go to Rwanda and rape, loot and eat cattle. Kanyarwanda told me last week he had a dream that that slum called Goma had been razed to the ground by an erupted volcano and it had erupted at night. that dream was frightening.
