Aristotle said that friends are friends because they are alike in virtue. I reckon that friends are friends because they are alike in many other ways, too. In my observations of people around the world I noticed what Fred did: people like to hang out with other people who are like themselves. This should not be regarded as a crime.
I've also noticed that here in the USA it's not good enough to let whites and blacks who actually like each other to hang out with each other. No. Whites and blacks must have their relationships enforced by law. I think that skews things automatically. It creates an unnatural tension that would not exist if we just let association with one another be free rather than a game of political score keeping.

Oh well. As harmless Fred's opinion is, and as harmless as my comment here is, in the modern USA we have breeched an unforgivable taboo.

Silky you make too much sense. You can legislate behavior but you cannot force camraderie. It is either there or not. I love all people until they injure me but I choose who to let in to my circle. I think this is true of blacks and whites .

By trying to force comraderie, the government destroys it. I suspect that the government's true goal is to keep blacks and whites at each others' throats. It's easier to pick our pockets when we're preoccupied.

We have to meet each other as individuals; I do not represent the entire white race and you do not represent every person of color. I do not like "joiners" -- judge me as an individual. Nuff said.

Much of what Mr. Reed writes is true. The only way to resolve this is true equality before the law. Affirmative action, set asides, quotas, forced integration and the whole racial entitlement system must go. Before there was forced integration, there was forced segregation. There should be no laws forcing people together or apart. Public facilities should be open to all. Private facilities are another matter. Let people pick their own friends, employees and associates. If people want to hire with their own affirmative action programs let them. If people want to hire only their kind let them. I personally believe people are a lot more tolerant then is put out. The dumbing down of the schools has had a huge negative effect. Blacks are not expected to achieve. Black family life has deteriorated markedly in the last 50 years. In my opinion the white family is headed in the same direction. When they took moral training out of the schools and turned it over to Unplanned Parenthood it was the start of the present collapse.

Actually, cops still have good eyes and know which race is more likely to commit crime. Discrimination against whites is more of a corporate and government job issue. Incompetent minorities are put into positions of power (so their bosses can feel good about themselves), and then drive their institution into the ground. The US auto industry is a perfect example, before forced integration and affirmative action, the US made the best cars in the world. Now, not so much.

Hollywood supplies the media backdrop with the OBPS (Obligatory Black Police Supervisor) in each and every movie or TV show. Trial judges are invariably women, invariably non-white. James Earl Jones once played the head of the CIA. Danny Glover must have been unavailable.

In business, 11 out of 13 happy Wal Mart shoppers in photos at one entrance in one town were minorities. It's one big, unrelenting fairy tale, except when a black was brought in to run the Whirlpool factory in Newton, Iowa. That very real incompetent ran that very real operation into the ground after hiring his buddies.

And the work ethic is no better in the Caribbean. I won't call it purely racial, but it sure does seem like a cultural dysfunction.

Blacks in american are little different from blacks in africa. Blacks in america, thought they have a higher average i.q. than their co-racialists in the motherland, share the same culture norms, values which do not create but only destroy. Planned Parenthood? What you point out as the "personal level, e.g. gang war" is most definitely not a conflict that takes place on a personal level, sorry. Gang wars are social-cultural activities, which is exactly what Reed is pointing at.

Blacks don't like Mexicans and "immigrants" because they compete for those jobs (to the extent that they compete for any job) that are available to their skill-set. Furthermore, we're talking about a future set of contingencies where whites no longer provide the level of welfare programs that blacks rely upon for subsistence. At that point in time, your basic working Mexican becomes the worst enemy of the parasitic role of blacks.

But gangs are a mere subset of the cultures, and in the case of Mexicans, do not reflect the broader culture. The average Mexican has little in common with the average Mexican gang-banger and is not about to assume common cause with him. He'd be more likely to link arms with el gringo, particularly if he felt that whites were the winning side.

Marcus Garvey had the right idea with his "Back to africa" movement. What he had wrong was the idea blacks could pull off such an operation (Black Star Line -Ships). But we Whites can do it. The time is right now. It's for the good of blacks too. They will be much better off and happier back in Africa. I'm sure they'll be welcomed back by their black bretheran with open arms.

Some form of piecemeal repatriation may well be a good idea, but given current political conditions, it is indescribably beyond impossible.
