This is great. It gives us the impression that Kenya is becoming more and more attractive to foreign investors.
Not to be a spoil-sport but I did not see any reference in the report of Indians being the drivers of real estate purchases in Kenya. The report alludes to ex-pat Kenyans who range in background from Indian to African to European origins.
Read the graphic at the top of the page where you saw those comments about ex-pats (50). It shows how the super-wealthy in various locations have allocated their commercial property portfolios.
What are the knock on effects of their investment in the Kenyan real estate? Will it be affordable for the locals or the land prices get distorted?
