Nobody watches the MSM anymore except those stuck in waiting rooms.

Nobody reads newspapers for news anymore, just the ads and local news. Even the New York Times, the supposedly greatest newspaper that ever was, can only sell about 2 million issues a day.

In 2016 the MSM committed suicide, jumped the shark.

blondethinker • 4 years ago

I don't give a wit about what some pompous so-called journalists thinks, they have no influence
here and never have but-----
I buy a newspaper every Sunday. I take out the coupon section and throw the rest away. The
savings from the coupons triple what I spent on the newspaper. I know I can download the coupons
and print them, but the coupons savings would not even meet the cost of printer ink.

Guest • 4 years ago

I'm ready to ditch even the Sunday paper altogether. My time + subscription rates + competitive and more convenient store coupons, MINUS financing their left-wing dogma = no more newspaper.

peter hoefsmit • 4 years ago

newspaper is good for lining birdcages and starting up the wood stove

bob333 • 4 years ago

I use newspaper to wipe the oil out of the pan when I change my car oil. I don´t buy the newspaper, though.

Firestar45 • 4 years ago

It's also great for cleaning windows. The pumice in newsprint ink is a terrific micro-abrasive.

jwden123 . • 4 years ago

My grandmother used to do that. She used a mix of water and vinegar and the newspaper to clean her windshield.

roger owens • 4 years ago

Notice that 'leftists' never demand open borders, 'diversity or mass immigration into any non white population anywhere.

Why is that? What is their real goal?

Its #Anti White #White Geno Cide

slobotnavich • 4 years ago

Like my Firestar .45, the best compact autoloader ever made. Pity that Star and Llama went tits up, along with the rest of the Spanish arms industry. Spain used to make excellent and very affordable firearms, mainly shotguns and handguns.

MolonLabe1836 • 4 years ago

I own one, a damn fine piece of equipment!

slobotnavich • 4 years ago

Mine's also the most accurate service-grade autoloader I've ever fired. No 1911 Colt I've ever had could touch it for out-of-the-box accuracy. And being all steel, it's heavy enough to absorb the recoil comfortably. Pity that Spain allowed one of their few manufacturing industries in which they were a world leader to go down. S&W should buy their old plants and re-open them.

bookworm721 • 4 years ago

Is micro-abrasive any thing like a micro-aggression? Lol

Truthiness111 • 4 years ago

Used them to wash barrack windows 1979!

lastconservative • 4 years ago

You can use paper towels if you cant find a discarded "news"paper.

Pragmatist • 4 years ago

Not as good its the newsprint INK which adds the abrasion to get the glass really clean

phicrappazappa • 4 years ago

Also good for underlayment to mulch. Stops weeds - even they don't want to deal with it.

DarnYankee • 4 years ago

Kills brain cells AND weeds ! What a great product !

"Surprised it's not more like 90% that don't trust the Lame Stream Media !"

Well, don't they ask the OTHER main stream media "journalists" FIRST?!? That has to be where they get the favorable ones...

terro9000 • 4 years ago

80 % of Progs will lie to the pollsters no matter what. All for the agenda you know.

The MSM took a risk in pushing for clinton as way to solidify the MSM's hold over the US. Their gamble failed and I believe that when NYT Sulzberger Jr. and Baquet apologized for their bias this week, they admitted their bias for all the world to see.

In their statement they wrote this, in part:

"As we reflect on this week’s momentous result, and the months of reporting and polling that preceded it, we aim to rededicate ourselves to the fundamental mission of Times journalism."

"That is to report America and the world honestly, without fear or favor, striving always to understand and reflect all political perspectives and life experiences in the stories that we bring to you. It is also to hold power to account, impartially and unflinchingly. We believe we reported on both candidates fairly during the presidential campaign. You can rely on The New York Times to bring the same fairness, the same level of scrutiny, the same independence to our coverage of the new president and his team."

"rededicate ourselves"????

"That is to report America and the world honestly, without fear or favor, striving always to understand and reflect all political perspectives and life experiences in the stories that we bring to you."???

This stunning admission that they were NOT "report America and the world honestly, without fear or favor". The bald face lies of the MSM's. 2 years of bald face lies told to the American people

Florida Sunshine • 4 years ago

Yet, the New York Times still doesn't get it. They insist that "they reported on both candidates fairly". Total bs. The New York Times has lost all credibility, as has most of the mainstream media. The American people are on to you!!!!!!!!

jimhalfwit • 4 years ago

It's hard to believe that 50 years ago, the NY Times was the gold standard for reporting. Today, it's mostly tabloid. Recently, the National Enquirer was rated as a more reliable new source than the NY Times. Our house hasn't had a NY Times since it went in the tank for Pres. Bill J Clinton.

TexasMom2012 • 4 years ago

Ditto the AP

Constitution First • 4 years ago

No, Not true. The New York Slimes were serial liars way back in 1931 when Walter Duranty totally whitewashed Russian mass starvation in the Ukraine. An equally suspect Pulitzer gave him an award for his deception. The Slimes has a long, long history of Communist propaganda.

jimhalfwit • 4 years ago

I was referring to the quality of reporting, not the editorial comment. Reporting was factual - who, what, when, where, why and the reporters were not allowed to offer opinion. Today it's called journalism where the only requirement is to write that something happened usually with generous amounts of spin allowed.

You were hoping for a war with Russia instead? Because the Kremlin came right out and said that would have been the likely trajectory of a Hillary presidency.

JohnnyBowe • 4 years ago

Actually, Putin's useful idiot is in the white house now! His finger up his nose talking senseless self congratulatory platitudes as Russia runs roughshod through the middle east and eastern Europe.

Truthiness111 • 4 years ago

The Putin that Hillary wants to start WWIII with? The same Putin who is smashing ISIS....... I like the idea of joining Putin to smash ISIS rather than starting WWIII with him. God Bless Donald Trump!

The NYT continues to attack Trump and excuses the rioting Hillary supporters. A leopard never changes its spots.

lastconservative • 4 years ago

Screw them. Apology not accepted. Mostly because, as usual, I dont believe a word they say. When all you do is lie to the public, it's hard to gain their trust with anything.

And, it, as surely as the sun rises in the east, the media will slip if ever so slowly back to the old biased ways. For that is human nature, and the nature of the "progressive" agenda. Slowly, and methodically resetting the societal norms such that most will not even see the shift. And history will be retold to our future generations to denounce the "old" ways and thinking as backward and limiting. They just tried to move too fast during Obama's tenure and now must pay the penalty.
Thank God that we have woken in the nick of time and have an opportunity to address this head on while we all can see the corruption of the media for what it is. They were played as the fools to be used as tools for the progressives.
I will state that am not fully convinced of Trump. I didn't vote for him, but only because I am in a solid Red state. However he had the experience needed to "channel" the media, and played them along with the social media like a fiddle.
It will be interesting to watch the reset of Washington, over the next 8 years. I know I'll enjoy watching.

God is not politically correct, but he's right.

Guest • 4 years ago

... when ANY media does that - report the TRUTH rather than MARXhu Akbar 'opinions' - I'll give them due credit. Until then I won't hold my breath ... I don't look good in purple at all and especially in the face !!!

Cherrone Male • 4 years ago

"As we reflect on this week’s momentous result, and the months of reporting and polling that preceded it, we aim to rededicate ourselves to the fundamental mission of Times journalism."

Too little, too late. They have already lost a substantial and financial readership, that won't be coming back to them.

So sad, go hug a puppy.

Jay111 • 4 years ago

"We believe we reported on both candidates fairly during the presidential campaign" Oh yeah, they'll change...Not.

ghench1 • 4 years ago

I just read where O's ratings are 57% favorable after the entire democrat party was shellacked nationwide as a referendum of his policies. There is no part of the media complex, including polling, that is honest, fair, or reputable.

Michael J. McCabe • 4 years ago

I wonder how many of the 57% are alive.

To Branco, AFLG
PERFECT!!
If only the liberal "journalists" could see themselves in that cartoon.

Hmmm, I wonder what it would take for Liberal "Journalists" to see themselves for what they really are?

I honestly want to know. Any other free thinkers out there care to speculate?

All they would have to do is look in the toilet after a big dump! It would be like looking in a mirror for them!
