We look at this pic of Perry and think its close enough to not matter at all and they dont understand why. However, they look at this pic of Hillary and think its close enough to not matter at all and I cant understand why.

Dan13 • 8 years ago

That would be like a Hillary campaign ad ending with Hillary saving an email.

objectivefactsmatter • 8 years ago

Oh Lord. Help us.

Purrl • 8 years ago

Just because I thought this was funny, being on Twitchy and all:

It's been many, many years, so don't hold me to this, but I believe back in the old days when I was at OTS the T-38s were referred to as "tweets."

Apropos of nothing, I realize, but I thought it was funny. :)

Being former Navy but growing up near an AFB -Moody Field as it was known shortly after WWII - where T-38's were used to train the next batch of zoomies to take the blue from the sky and the pretty girl's eye, it was, IIRC, the T-37 that was called the tweet.

Purrl • 8 years ago

Wasn't sure I was remembering correctly. I won't admit how many years it's been... :D

Heh... Being an old fossil, I can admit the last time I was at Moody was at least a half century ago.

Dave Shuster shorter: I've got nothing!

bo1921 • 8 years ago

It's a good thing dave lives in a bubble of blathering idiots or he'd know people laugh at him whenever they see him diddle-daddle down the street.

Herb • 8 years ago

At least it was an American fighter jet and not images of the Russian Navy. You know, like the DNC used in 2012 to show support for "our troops".

Then again, given the Dems, ex-Soviet vessels would be their troops, wouldn't they?

jdl0622 • 8 years ago

Hey Dave, you can't ween yourself off Just For Men, can you?

96leroy • 8 years ago

Does David Shuster's profile pic have an image of him with his head under the skirt of an Imam? Because that IS his life with Al Jazeera.

Howard Roark • 8 years ago

I wonder what the big white aircraft behind Rick Perry was? Oh the type of aircraft he actually flew??

Thomas A. Livingston • 8 years ago

I'm not aware of any military organization that doesn't require supplies and/or people to be transported to their bases around the world. From toilet paper, food, spare parts, equipment and so forth. Combat aircraft can't fly without spare parts or the people to fix the aircraft. I think the folks in Africa appreciated a C-130 pilot flying in drought relief supplies and folks in Guatemala probably appreciated a C-130 pilot flying in supplies after their earthquake when he delivered in their time of need as well.

megapotamus • 8 years ago

What did Yobama fly again? I fergit!

Dan13 • 8 years ago

He flew Shrooms. Got rather high off the ground, too.
Though, he didn't go anywhere.

A Jefferson Airplane

J_W_C_NM • 8 years ago

Obama was standing in front of Styrofoam Greek columns, the problem with that is Obama isn't Greek.

Moonbats think he's a gyro though. :-)

Howard Roark • 8 years ago

but He is styrofoam

Rhonda Lynn • 8 years ago

Well shoot........hurry up Perry; go shred some papers and destroy some emails and servers. That's okay with liberal media.

ghiggins1958 • 8 years ago

And sexually abuse some women (Bill Clinton)
Plagiarize some papers(Joe Biden)
Claim to have been fired upon, ignored DOJ rules about emails, lied about Benghazi(Hillary Clinton)
Release 5 terrorists in exchange for a known deserter(Obama)
Mistake the Russian airforce for the US Air Force(DNC)

Yeah, Perry's campaign is now over since he showed an airplane that Shuster couldn't identify.

Rhonda Lynn • 8 years ago

More brainless liberalism at ..... play. I was gonna say "at work" but that 4-letter word causes them to go even more insane!! Scares 'em.

interestedobserver2 • 8 years ago

Tell us, David, what YOU did in the military. Oh yeah, that's right.... Nothing.

At least Rick Perry served. And if he flew into some of the places I was at, he earned his pay the hard way, too.

Hillary can't even drive a freaking car.

Jeffrey Rogers • 8 years ago

Hillary launders millions of dollars through her "charity" slush fund and this is what you come up with for Rick Perry? HACK.

JR48 • 8 years ago

So does that mean that all campaign commercials must literally reflect the candidate's life in order not to be scandalous? Wow, that means ...pretty much every candidate that ever was, is in hot water.

TANSTAAFL • 8 years ago

And Obama's MOS was.....what?

Lemme see here... "Combat Engineer," "Common Ground Station Operator," "Communications Locator/Interceptor," and.... "Construction Engineering Supervisor." NOPE. No Community Organizer MOS.

Dan13 • 8 years ago

Yeah, but he was in a war zone--Chicago.

Tigerspike • 8 years ago

If this were a conservative talking about a liberal, the response would be, "faux outrage!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Dan13 • 8 years ago

Of course, actual documentation from tax records that one hid income and didn't pay taxes is real faux outrage.

Guest • 8 years ago
Dan13 • 8 years ago

Stop lying! Hillary would never show an American flag at any point in a campaign ad.

Bryan Ewbank • 8 years ago

At least it was a US war plane.

Kevin Giltrud • 8 years ago

There is nothing wrong with driving a Trash Hauler!

The Herc is very deceptive. Nimble. Over Powered. Maneuverable. Great Nap of the Earth (NOE) capabilities. With superb short Take Off and Assault Landing techniques developed and refined since Khe Sanh.

Tossed many box lunches riding in the back to drop fuel bladders and gear to back up A-10s during Red Flags at Nellis.

You can't have wars without them!

One of the oldest C-130's we had at our base was USMC Modex #808. The Marines turned the number into "BOB." Lift the radome and there were autographs and messages still on the inside all the way back to Vietnam pilots.

Kevin Giltrud • 8 years ago

It was nothing for a Herk to return from a training mission having flown through a flock of birds. Bird strikes on engines was one thing, Having a Herk land with a half cooked bird stuck in the radome happened a few times.

One of our Little Rock Herks caught a deer on landing and wrecked the left side main gear door.... Very messy and unpleasant!

Markward • 8 years ago

Yup, Logistics are a vital part of warfare. Can't win a battle without beans and bullets.

Dan13 • 8 years ago

With Obama's Rs of E, why would soldiers need bullets?

Also... not to defend this idiot, but Shuster's pathetic "gotcha" attempt is still less feeble than the bunker-busting paylod of stupid launched by Debbie Waterhead Schultz about Perry.

Note to Davey boy: Won't work; Rick Perry is no Brian Williams.

itsatax • 8 years ago

It's a T-38 supersonic trainer in the video, not a 'fighter'. Perry apparently actually trained on the T-38 before moving to the transports.

http://beldar.blogs.com/bel...

Stupid liberal MSM reporters, like @DavidShuster from Al Jazeera America, made this same dumb mistake 3 years ago. Perry flew jets in training like every other multi-engine pilot did. Here's a picture of him on a T-38 jet trainer. Also, the C-130 is a powered by a turboprop engine --- the same "suck, squeeze, bang, blow" as a jet engine. And the "C" in C-130 stands for "cargo" not "transport."

Kevin Giltrud • 8 years ago

*Ahem*

"As a former long time flight line 'Knuckle Buster, Engine Puke' and Crew Chief.

The correct phraseology is 'Wheezes. Squeezes, Blows and Goes'".

Other than that. A great comment!

LOL!!! My Navy mech buddy always calls it "suck, squeeze, bang, blow." He remembered it that way for his A&P License test. :-)

Kevin Giltrud • 8 years ago

Different services, Different terminology.

TomAL • 8 years ago

It is not a fighter. It's a T-38 trainer which he may have flown prior to the C-130.

Kevin Giltrud • 8 years ago

Not exactly.

The T-38 kept its airframe. Lost the back seat. Added avionics and added weapons pylons and created the F-5 'Skoshi Tiger' for the Vietnamese AF. I always though it would have made a decent jammer or lightweight 'Wild Weasel'.

TomAL • 8 years ago

I'm familiar with the F-5, but I don;t think it was ever used in the USAF. The plane in the video is a T-38.
