UNIVERSITIES MUST PUNISH STUDENT PROTESTERS, Professors, and outside organizers for breaking their CODE OF CONDUCT RULES that are against shutting down "Guest Speakers," and their Rights. Hopefully, student leaders, of all political stripes, demand enforcement of those rules. EXPEL & FIRE!

You're right. There are several Rules these students broke and one is about silencing "Guest Speakers." The organizers, including Profs, need to be expelled since their protest led to violence and it could have been much worse.

GREAT POINT. I googled CODE OF CONDUCT RULES and these student protesters broke several of those Rules no matter who is the "guest speaker," what they say "which could be abhorrent to some." Protesters who "block" the entrance, cause disruptions in classes, and against "speakers" will be disciplined including expulsion.

Student organizers must take action including suing the Administration, protesters, and yes, outsiders who can be banned from campuses.

They should be named, reported, and kicked out from all events.

Another idea would be for every attendee to give a $100 deposit on their credit card which would be refunded automatically afterwards if they were not involved in any bad behavior. It could all be done with credit cards -- pre-approval.

It would make for a slow entry and exit, but at least it would keep the dirt bags out.
