This dishonest, biased so-called "reporter" only regrets that she got caught.

Ragnar__Danneskjold • 7 years ago

The media's worst fear is losing control of the message. Stunts like this being exposed are what will save this country from the massive misinformation campaign put on by the media and academia.

Google JournoList. 400 mainstream journalists were caught conspiring to attack the right and prop up the left. They didn't get caught till 2010 after three years of coordinating their propaganda.

JapaneseRamenNoodle • 7 years ago

Why does Couric's editing surprise us? Hasn't anyone watched her other Yahoo "reports?" They are about as non-partisan as an interview with Nancy Pelosi on MSNBC.

Worse: Couric represents the worst type of Liberal -- those who are oblivious to their own Left Wing status. Such liberals would actually try to argue that Obama, Pelosi, Hillary, Bernie, etc. are "centrists." It is all about controlling the narrative and rewriting history via the power of the press.

While I have never been a Sarah Palin fan, Couric was part of the minions of media's "narrative control" in 2008 to paint Palin as an idiot.

I've long since concluded that the media and the press (and many universities) adhere to an ideological nepotism. You have to either publicly agree with Left Wing ideology or simply keep your mouth shut and pretend that you do in order to win a job.

Beth Jenkins Pickelsimer • 7 years ago

I could not agree more. The idiotic portrayal of Palin lampooned on SNL quipping that "she could see Russia from her kitchen window," was a dramatic illustration of the False media narrative. They excised the answer from the question posed to Palin, which was: "You have the only National Guard that is on 24 hour, round the clock duty. Why is that?" Palin explained that the lower 48 contiguous states sometimes forget the geography of Alaska and the actual proximity of The United States to Russia and the threat to our vital oil resources and logistics, in terms of national Security. She followed up those comments with an aside that really correlates the geographical connection to America's National Security , stating that due to their close proximity to Russia, Alaska's National Guard must maintain 24 hour vigilance. She stated that most Americans would be surprised to know that from a particular window in her kitchen, she could actually see Russia. Hardly an ignorant or uninformed comment, but rather a very sophisticated explanation that relates to the everyday American citizen.

Scratcheee • 7 years ago

Just to clarify a bit more, what she said was, "They’re our next-door neighbors. And you can actually see Russia, from land, here in Alaska, from an island in Alaska.”

338_win_mag • 7 years ago

Why would anyone that supports the 2nd amendment think they'll get an unbiased-unedited interview of them on the subject from the likes of Couric?

JackO • 7 years ago

I'm always amazed the left can still get people to show up at these events. Why would you, you're not going to change their mind so why go?

John D • 7 years ago

In my opinion, and republican politician that does an interview at a liberal network is a damn fool.

SASINTEXAS • 7 years ago

Newsmax now has live broadcasting news on and they have a large following. I agree 100% those who think they will get a fair deal are deservedly a fool.

Mel_Anosis • 7 years ago

Yes, 60 minutes was famous for editing interviews to change a person's message. An old trick.

NotPropagandized • 7 years ago

CorruptMedia relies on our idiotocracy, just like Gruber Obamacare et al relied upon lack of transparency to defraud the American Public. But Gruber was generally right. The everyday observer is clueless and CorruptPolitician and CorruptMedia know this just as KatieCouric and they act like buzzards on road-kill to exploit that reality to foist their communist lies on the unsuspecting.
.
Yes, she should be banished from media and internet.

Trump thrives on good or bad press-amazing.

And he calls them just what they are: "evil". Maybe everyone interviewed should call them out before, during and after any discussion. It should catch fire, because it's the truth.

back at you with a democrat politician at faux news where the only news is made up.

I have no intentions of going to a Demon Rat anything. My deceased parents; dad (1896-1968) mom, (1908-1997), were registered demos. I am Tea-Party Republican. Pretty sure both would switch to republican if they were alive. JFK was the last D president worth a darn AND THE DEMOS HAD HIM KILLED

draidt • 7 years ago

My grandparents, midwest farmers were stanch Democrats, both passed away in the early 70's It is my firm belief that they would be appalled at what the Democratic party has evolved into.

JFK, like Reagan and many others, would've left the Democratic party of today. He wasn't overly fond of totalitarianism and the Democratic party of today is split between Maoist totalitarians (Hillary Tse Tung) and Stalinist totalitarians (Bernie Sanders proofread Stalin's speeches for him).

SirFrankyCrisp • 7 years ago

>>Bernie Sanders proofread Stalin's speeches for him

That's ridiculous. Do you think before repeating nonsense? Sanders was born in 1941, Stalin died in 1954. If Bernie did help Stalin with his speeches just before he died, Bernie would've been 13 years old. Care to reconsider?

Guest • 7 years ago

I guess you never heard of metaphors. Not surprising coming from a Stalinist totalitarian. Never forget that the first people a totalitarian regime gets rid of are its useful fools (like you) because they are no longer of any use and actually expect to be rewarded. You will be at the bottom of the mass grave, fool.

SirFrankyCrisp • 7 years ago

Well apparently you have heard the word metaphor but clearly have no idea of its definition. There is no metaphor in saying that Bernie wrote speeches for Stalin. And exactly how does my knowledge of the impossibility of Bernie having written speeches for Stalin make me a Stalinist. Did you just buy a "Word a Day" app and just feel that you needed to go out and use your new words? I don't even support Bernie (or Hillary for that matter).

Guest • 7 years ago

Yawn...

Keep on fellating you Dear Leader Bernie and maybe you too can be a part of the new Communist regime.

Don't forget to swallow, hun.

SirFrankyCrisp • 7 years ago

Seriously? That's a level of maturity that you're proud of displaying alongside your name? Choosing 7th grade gay-commie insults to avoid replying to an adult issue in a big boy manner?

Joe R • 7 years ago

I believe he meant that JFK was the last Dem president to actually care about his country. There hasn't been a good Dem president in my life time. That includes Truman.

To be fair, that assassination was wrought by consensus -no right, no left, just the NWO, the banksters, the overlords the media keeps well hidden from the masses by mocking the truth of them as "conspiracy theory". What pigs!

Sawfingers • 7 years ago

True, just as the people who show up for Dr. Phil and other reality based shows.

disqus_Q7uQWDF8US • 7 years ago

I would change thier minds.

dwash • 7 years ago

I've also been wondering that for many years now. It's not like they might receive a fair turn at the mic. There's a reason why you don't cast you Palins before the networks, they will only trample them and then turn on you. It serves only to stroke the inadequate and feeble minded.

lectron777 • 7 years ago

It's amazing to me people watch it on TV.

B Pryor • 7 years ago

Perhaps they are being paid and are on the company clock.

boeing46 • 7 years ago

Why does any conservative do an interview with the left wing reporters. There are so few honest reporters in the main stream media.

Honest Abe • 7 years ago

Usually that is the only chance they ever get to tell the truth, unfortunately it always seems to be manipulated!

Mina17 • 7 years ago

At least they had the foresight to record the interview themselves. Otherwise, they would have had no way to prove how manipulative Couric and her producer were.

gofast951 • 7 years ago

Good Question. Why did the entire Republicain party think see was unbiased for the past 20 years?

boeing46 • 7 years ago

Perky Katie is the furthest thing from unbiased. She is as far left as humanly possible

mttiro67 • 7 years ago

Correct. She never said she could see Russia from her house, because she can't. The closest part of Russia to Palin's house is approximately 1,000 miles away. Even if there were no mountains in between, which there are, she would still not be able to "see Russia from her house." She never said that. Tina Fey said it, and millions of very stupid Americans believed that Palin said it.

SuperbFlab • 7 years ago

Which is accurate from what I've read.

Joe McCarthy was right • 7 years ago

Yes, SNL mocks anti-liberals as they did against Sarah Palin with a skit using another mindless liberal, Tina Fey, to portray Palin as a fool.
In reality Tina Fey is the fool.

Ace • 7 years ago

Palin was also a good sport and appeared with Fey on TV good naturedly playing along with the resemblance between the two. So far as I know, Fey has been graceless ever since and not acknowledged that.

Joe McCarthy was right • 7 years ago

Thats's all true. Liberals despise people that disagree with them. When Fey seen Palin and realized how nice and good looking she really was, Fey despised her all the more. Typical liberal.

L_Dave • 7 years ago

More specifically, liberals disdain any member of a "victim" class (female, black, hispanic, gay) who disagrees with them. E.g., Clarence Thomas

JoesRetirementHome • 7 years ago

Liberals drive Smart Cars in the fast lane and won't move to the right so that you can get past. It's a twisted mind-set.

G3K762 • 7 years ago

That's where the NASCAR pass comes from. When encountering these left lane bandits, you move right, pass, and move back into the left lane. In doing so, make sure that you leave 6 inches or less when you move in front of them. They'll look terrified, and maybe assume it's aggressive driving, when in fact you're helping them and the environment. You were only trying to let them draft.....right? :)
