So maybe that new Alcohol Issue on the ballot up there is not such a bad idea, seems people are going to get their booze one way or another, just quit fighting it.

Yes, just one more reason to vote alcohol sales legal in all the counties in Arkansas. The state can certainly use the wind-fall in taxes it will bring in. People are going to drink alcohol, legal or illegal. Make it legal and get it over with.

One supporter had the balls to claim it will save lives, because people drive to get booze and get drunk and crash on the way home, hey State and County Police should have a talk with you about the friends she hangs with

I can see your point, but if a person has to drive a far distance, in some situations, to get their booze, they are going to pop a top, or mix them a drink, on the way back from whence they came, carrying their open container between their legs, drinking as they travel along, having the potential of having a bad accident, killing either themselves, or some innocent person. I don't drink alcohol, nor do I smoke, but in my opinion, it's a good idea to make alcohol sales legal all across Arkansas.

Joe, i'm sure I can't sway your position but be assured my vote will cancel your vote. Before you vote on this issue, it's not about drink but about State control, do you really think the state will do the right thing for us. If someone drives to another county to get drink, then drinks and drives, is that a good thing, be assured he will drink and drive in your home town too.
