Now, I just need to know the requirements.

More than you can run pal, it's a 2016 game!

Weezy Got that Sack • 8 years ago

You mean the consoles can't run it and the PC looks really fuckin good. I've seen the PC version and it looks damn good

Chacalizado • 8 years ago

I really wanted to see a video of pc gameplay.
Not just for the graphics but the gameplay itself.

William • 8 years ago

I will fix your comment...

"More than you can run pal, it's a Ubisoft game!"

There makes more sense now.

Chocho en lata • 8 years ago

It runs on a GTX 650ti on low at 50fps

Aiden Pierce • 8 years ago

How do you know?

John Blue • 8 years ago

https://www.reddit.com/r/th...

Of course, take it with a grain of salt, it's not an "official confirmation"

Arapahoe • 8 years ago

That's huge for 2 days only. I assume the full game would be about 50gb

Jason • 8 years ago

It's going to be extended. They could not keep the Rainbow Six servers online and it had significantly less hype. I doubt they will have stable servers for the first 48 hours.

Arapahoe • 8 years ago

I hope they extend it

Chacalizado • 8 years ago

2 days it's the duration of the beta?

Arapahoe • 8 years ago

Yes

Steve Freeman • 8 years ago

F that, I'm glad I didn't bother signing up for it.

sono • 8 years ago

I hope theres a pre-download option on my ps4. Otherwise by the time i complete the download, the beta is over.

Khurune • 8 years ago

48hour pre-download was comfirmed.

Flumpyman • 8 years ago

Sweet :-)

Daniel Attenborough • 8 years ago

Who ever has interent that downloads 26 gig in 2 hours..I hate you :P 5.15megabits per second is my awesome Australian internet speed...

Elfa • 8 years ago

Try Gigabit, it's awesome.

Daniel Attenborough • 8 years ago

I live in Australia Elfa, the government is currently rolling out a fibre network that depending on where you live gives speeds of up to 100 megabits per second. But as with most government infrastructure it is way behind schedule and way over budget, I was supposed to be FTTP but the cheaped out and decided to do FTTN Apparently the build is commencing in my area in the 2nd quarter so hopefully I will have a internet speed that matches my computer speed. https://uploads.disquscdn.c...

Elfa • 8 years ago

Since I don't live in Australia, I'll have to muddle through here but don't you guys have any private companies interested in investing in high speed fiber? Why is the government doing it?

Daniel Attenborough • 8 years ago

The government is paying for it($30 billion Australian), and NBN CO are building it. NBN CO is a government owned company that was formed to design, build and implement it Telstra Australia's largest telecommunications company used to be wholly owned by the government but they put it on the stock market in 3 stages and now only owns 17% of it.
We have a small population of just over 24 million and so far uptake on total number of premises with access to fibre is about 33% Basically with such expense there is no privately owned Australian company that would have the finances to foot the bill.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wi... I could write it all but hey, there is a wiki page haha

Thanks, good insight.

I HATE YOU!

Chacalizado • 8 years ago

He doesn't hate you ... he is jealous of your interwebz connection.

Jimmy Page • 8 years ago

50mbps is what you need for the 2 hour download more or less. I know Australia has issues with download speeds, but is it that bad?

Daniel Attenborough • 8 years ago

Well when you own a PC and an XB1 and by a lot of digital games, downloading takes an eternity. 5.15mbps 50gig about 2 gig an hour means it takes about 25 hours of full speed nonstop downloading for a large game. And I can't leave the download going at full speed non-stop as I am not the only one who uses the internet, for instance when the XB1 is downloading I can't even browse the web as the XB1 takes all of the bandwidth, on the PC I can throttle the downloads if I want to use netflix or Stream an NBA or EPL game, but the XB1 just destroys the bandwidth and it seems to be able to get 5.55 megabits per second or at least that is what the XB1 says it is getting.

Until you have to wait 2 days after release to play a game that you've been waiting for and the rest of the world is playing you can't know the frustration. Even when I go and buy a physical copy of an XB1 game I still have to patch almost every one immediately and have to wait another 3-12-24 hours to play it depending on the patch size and the game. Last month I downloaded 274 gig on the XB1 according to the stats.

So in long, yes it is bad. But my internet only costs $30 a month unlimited up and down which makes the speed stomach-able. I could get cable and pay 5 times that amount and be limited to 250 gig a month, but I would cap out each month and be forced to pay excess charges.

Jimmy Page • 8 years ago

It's even worse than i thought then... I have 50mbps symmetrical and I'm paying around 30-40€ a month unlimited. Seriously, I hope you get a decen isp soon.

Daniel Attenborough • 8 years ago

Thanks Jimmy, me and another 23 million Aussies without the NBN are all waiting with baited breath in anticipation of our new found speed

obababoy • 8 years ago

Yeah...I read about you Aussies getting screwed by the big company there with a monopoly. Sorry to hear it.

theduckofdeath • 8 years ago

I downloaded Titanfall on PC in 31 minutes over WiFi. Sorry.

Ricky Wheeler • 8 years ago

5.15mb/sec? You baby. Come to South Africa. My average download speed for years was, on a good day, about 100kbps. Now I'm at least managing 2-2.5mb per second, and you're complaining about 5.15... Sigh, I'm just jealous, is all. My mere 2mb is costing me an arm and a leg. :(

obababoy • 8 years ago

No man...Come to the USA! We will gladly take in some more Wikus Van Devere's!

Chacalizado • 8 years ago

8mb here ... you better stfu xD

No offence.

Elfa • 8 years ago

Man, that's gonna take me at least 15, maybe even 16 minutes to DL.

Weezy Got that Sack • 8 years ago

fuxck you

obababoy • 8 years ago

Im pushing around 25MB/s DL right now...Sadly this wont be the same when I move to Hawaii in Feb...

VDGG • 8 years ago

It's fine, i just tell myself "get used to it"

nico santa • 8 years ago

If your still looking for a beta key , they are less then a dollar here https://www.g2a.com/r/the_d...

Takeshi • 8 years ago

You can also just pre-order it at amazon, and then cancel it after you get the beta key.

TBODB • 8 years ago

That's... pretty fucked up lol

Takeshi • 8 years ago

I'll be more than ready to throw my money at Ubisoft if the game is as good as I think. But not before I know for sure.
Same thing if I played the beta and then cancelled pre-order because it wasn't what I expected.

obababoy • 8 years ago

Lol I did the same thing. Ubi probably wont do that again with the pre-orders :) I plan to get this on PC but want to play the beta on PC first before actually buying.

Rafael Soares Pinheiro • 8 years ago

Just got mine <3 Thanks a lot for this.

Rafael Soares Pinheiro • 8 years ago

And the key didn`t worked. Lost a dollar >:(
